Hey Y’all!!

We’d like to thank you all for such a wonderful year and shopping small with us! You have no idea how much your support means to us! I’d like to try to paint that picture for you. You see, when you shop with a big box major store and you make a $50 purchase, no one blinks an eye. But when you shop with us and make that same $50 purchase, you’ve now kept our website up an additional month!

During this trying year, you guys kept us very busy and we are forever grateful. In our first full year of business you guys purchased over 3,000 candles from us😅. Amazing!!

We have new things on the horizon that we are very excited about, mainly the “Houston Buckley Scholarship” this will be an annual scholarship set up for underprivileged youth. This scholarship is in memory of my Husband’s grandfather. We have been working on this for a while now and plan to release on Father’s Day this year. 100% of each sale from the Houston Buckley collection will go in the scholarship fund. Additionally, 10% of each sale of all other candles will go to this fund as well! We are super excited and we hope you help us empower the youth for years to come.

Governor John Bel Edwards said in his briefing today that he plans to extend the “Stay at Home” order until at least April 30. He plans to outline this in a proclamation by the end of the week.

There have been 1,212 new cases reported since yesterday — a 30 percent increase. Total cases are 5,237. There have also been 54 additional deaths since yesterday, bringing the total to 239. The virus is now reported in 60 of the state's 64 parishes.

Louisiana is still on a steep growth trajectory. This is very troubling.

In Beauregard, we have five confirmed cases. Don’t wait for these numbers to rise before you act. Don’t wait for a death to occur in our community before you start complying with the recommendations. The time is now. Do your part — now. Stay home. Save lives. Be patient.
