I received a phone call today from someone who had a donation to God’s Food Box from First North of Moss Bluff.
We made arrangements to meet with the President of the Board of God’s Food Box (Gary Blackmon) who presented a check to Gary for God’s Food Box.
Thank You First North Moss Bluff for your generosity. This money will be put to good use for serving the people of Beauregard parish though Gods work.
Just a little back ground on God’s Food Box.
We serve the people of Beauregard Parish.
We have 621 registered families from Beauregard Parish.
That breaks down to:
884 adults 18-64
570 children 1-17
222 seniors 65+
We are open Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday from 10-12:30. We only close New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and if Christmas falls on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday that year.
We are in need of volunteers mostly on Wednesday and Thursday, but welcome them any day. You can work any day for as many hours that you want. It could be all day that we are open or just 1 hour. It up to the volunteer.
