I apologize to everyone paying attention that I haven’t said much at all lately. Things have been crazy. BTG is happy to announce that today Kayleen McCabe has accepted a position on our Board of Directors. I had the pleasure of meeting and eventually working with Kayleen several years ago thru our connection to SkillsUSA. Kayleen has an outstanding background in construction and was host of a renovation show. I was honored to have her join me on some visits to the women’s prison units. She was able to see first hand the hard work and dedication those ladies were putting in to learn their respective trades. She was able to talk to the ladies and hear firsthand their struggles and want and need for a second chance to prove their worth. Kayleen understands the BTG mission and supports our efforts to get more women in construction.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank EVERYONE for the outpouring of love and support for the BTG mission. You’ve made a fat mans day. I can’t tell you enough how much of an impact you’ve made on what we do.

I'm not normally an emotional person but i will admit this week has been just that. I've been on a 6 day journey to talk to people about BTG's renewed mission. I spoke to many people (many who probably wish i didn't. lol) about what BTG's plans were for this year and i have to say, the outpouring of love, support and gratitude for what we are trying to accomplish was nearly overwhelming. Everyone i spoke to not only agreed with the need but was supportive that they believed I was the one that could make it happen.

WHEW!!!
When that many people that are directly linked to your mission, are supporting you, you cannot fail
When you have drive, passion and ambition, you cannot fail.
When you set out do do the right thing for the right reason and the right people, you CANNOT fail!!

2021 ain't ready.

Thank you all so very much for the support. I mean everyone. Those close you know will support you but to see so much support and drive from mentors, peers and others in the arenas you are trying to service, it has been truly mind blowing.

Again, THANK YOU ALL. Y'ALL will help make this a reality.
