It was so good to see so many UWP alumni come out to support the 15th annual World Singing Day in Boulder, Colorado, on Saturday! Bringing people together through music and sharing a message of hope and belonging is what the UWP spirit is all about.

This year’s Song of the Year, “Room for Everyone,” was sung in 50 countries and 195 communities around the world. What a beautiful reminder of the power of people coming together!

The compilation video is coming soon, featuring people of all ages raising their voices and spreading the message that there’s room for everyone🌍

Thank you to our UWP community for showing up, sharing your hearts, and keeping that spirit alive!

🌎 It’s World Singing Day!
Today, more than 190 communities across 50 countries are coming together to celebrate, sing, and unite through music! This year’s Song of the Year is “Room for Everyone,” a song that has been part of the Up with People story for more than four decades.

And today, we’re bringing that story full circle. At 91 years young, Paul Colwell, who co-wrote “Room for Everyone,” joins his son Jeb and older brother Steve for a special performance of the song. What started as a message shared through music more than 40 years ago continues to travel across generations and around the world, reminding us that we all belong and that there’s room for everyone.

Be part of it! Find a World Singing Day event in your community, gather your friends and family, or simply play the song at home and sing along!

Wherever you are, your voice is part of something bigger today.
Let’s fill the world with music!

It makes our hearts so full to hear the messages of Up with People songs continuing to travel across generations and around the world. These young students in China are singing “Room for Everyone,” an Up with People song and this year’s World Singing Day Song of the Year. Seeing a new generation bring this message to life reminds us just how powerful music can be in connecting people, no matter where they are. And this is just a little preview of what the world will be singing together this Saturday!

World Singing Day is one of the projects proudly supported by the Up with People Foundation, bringing communities together through the power of music.

➡️ Join us! This Saturday, October 17, 190 communities across 50 countries (wow!) will add their voices to the celebration! Sing with us, share the music, and be part of a global day of connection, joy, and community. Because there truly is room for everyone💛
