Can’t remember a time when Coach Nick wasn’t at camp! is from a local cycling family - Carl, Krystal, Nick & Cate! Parents coached at TVS camps & the kids were campers, then Jr. Coaches, then Coaches! Nick got homesick his 1st time at camp when he was 8 & his parents left to go race. He was so little! Now he is entering his Jr. year at and comes back to help each year! That is at least 12 years of camp!!! He constantly wears a smile on his face & is always telling tales of past camps! He is just a joy on and off the bike! He loves reminding Coach Aden that he was a Jr. Coach for Aden at one of the camps! Now he is working hard to get Aden to join him at Colorado Mesa! We love Nick and so do the campers!!

One of the great things about the Tri Velo Series camps is watching the kids literally grow up & become leaders. Campers become Jr. Coaches that help the Coaches and Jr. Coaches become Coaches. These young people are not only skilled bike handlers but have become great leaders. The camps teach young people skills on & off the bikes. Meet the 2024 coaches:
Aden Clark - started going to camps at about age 7. He did have a crash on his very 1st day of camp & he was pretty sore so he got to ride with Miss Dee in the golf cart & then go get ice cream! Aden is a senior at Monarch High School & a varsity basketball player. He won a Cyclocross National Championship but eventually decided not to race anymore. He has a natural talent on the bike and he really likes to go fast! The kids don’t ever get to see him really ride his bike because he is too busy overseeing them. He has been coaching for TVS for 4 years & is a big hit amongst the kids. And a huge help to Miss Dee! Come back tomorrow to meet Coach Nick!

Day 5 - Last Day for this week & for the summer! Hit Sloans Lake where the campers discovered a small pump track that we had to drag them away from! Stopped by for some ice cream (yummy New Zealand style) & lunch! Bumped into TVS friend Jim Doolittle from ! Learned a few things about their bikes & some tips about fixes on the road/trail! Great week in the city with some country/mountain kids!!! Don’t forget to always check for cars! Clear!

Day 4 - Started off with a wonderful cruise along the Clear Creek Trail to the So. Platte Trail - we saw over 6 white cranes, a couple pelicans, a few lizards, and 2 massive grey herons! The ride led us to where we took their factory tour & shopped for candy! Took a much less scenic but quick ride to the Globevill Argo pool before the end of the day!! 1 more day!

Day 3 - Loads of fun at the City Park Swan Boats (Thank you for donating the rental to us!) with a stop at The Denver Central Market with some ice cream from for some of us & a mango smoothie from for others! And we found the awesome bike sculpture! The fun never ends!

Day 2 was a very big adventure!! 15 miles; rode dirt around Lowell Ponds, Clear Creek Park & Jim Baker Reservoir; had lunch under the biggest weeping elm tree in the country at ; tootled around Regis for a bit; went to Neveria Mil Delicious for some yummy ice cream; went swimming at the Scheilter Outdoor Pool before it started raining; and had the awesome crew from Station 17 on Tennyson St for helping us rescue our bikes after one of the campers lost their key! Just one adventure after another!!

Denver Adventure Bike Camp is about exploring Denver on 2 wheels while improving bike skills! As we kick off the 2nd session we rode to - a huge warehouse of comics & more! Then we cruised over to - cars, trains, plains & bikes!!! They loved it! We stopped at the Globeville Argo pool to cool off before racing back trying to beat a thunder storm (we did!)
