🗳️ A new voting resource is coming to East Colfax!

Join The Fax, the City and County of Denver, and community partners on Monday, October 5, from 10 AM–12 PM at The Rose on Colfax for the dedication and ribbon-cutting of Denver’s 49th 24-hour ballot drop box. The new drop box will make voting more accessible for East Colfax residents and will be dedicated in memory of Ma Kaing. 💙

We hope to see you there! Please share this event with your friends, neighbors, and community networks so more East Colfax residents know about this new resource.

One of the best parts of our annual fundraiser? Getting to celebrate the incredible businesses that make East Colfax, East Colfax. 🍗💙

Meet Hamid, owner of Buffalo Wild Wings and Things. They’ve been serving the East Colfax community for over a decade!

Their menu features wings and catfish as the main dishes, along with burgers, Phillies, and desserts. Hamid says one of their goals has been to “differentiate ourselves from other businesses in this neighborhood,” while staying connected to and supporting the community.

They’ll be serving up food as part of our Taste of Colfax at The Fax Partnership’s 4th Annual Fundraiser on Sept. 17. Come check it out!

Meet Jenna, one of the owners of Quince Coffee House. For Jenna, Quince is about much more than coffee—it’s about bringing the community together and creating “a safe space first, before anything else.”

Quince Coffee House has been part of the East Colfax community for five years, with the coffee shop itself at the location since 2014. Jenna’s favorite part of the business? “Community and art.”She loves having a comfortable, welcoming space where people can deliberate, sketch together, connect, and, of course, enjoy coffee. 💙

Meet Almaz Adhanom, owner of Lucy Ethiopian Restaurant, 7401 E Colfax Ave.
Almaz opened her restaurant in 2012, wanting to “share the rich and vibrant flavors of my culture with the Denver community. Our menu features traditional dishes like Doro Wot, Shiro, and many more, all prepared with care and love. Creating a warm, welcoming space where people can gather and enjoy authentic Ethiopian cuisine has always been my passion. Cooking is truly my favorite part of this journey, and I pour that joy into every meal we serve.”
