Last week, we gathered to celebrate the completion of another legislative session and reflect on what we accomplished together for Colorado kids.

We were also proud to recognize two outstanding champions for kids:
🏆 Hillary Jorgensen with Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition received our "Anna Jo Garcia Haynes Advocate of the Year Award"
🏆 Representative Kyle Brown received our "Legislator of the Year Award"

Thank you for your leadership, dedication, and commitment to creating a brighter future for Colorado's children.

We're so excited that SB26-125 has been signed into law! 🎉

This important bill enshrines the rights of students with disabilities into state law and gives families a state-level process to address complaints when discrimination occurs.

A HUGE thank you to all our partners who worked tirelessly with us on this legislation, including Senator Christopher Kolker, Senator Janice Marchman, Representative Jennifer Bacon, Representative Dr. Jacque Phillips, and Disability Law Colorado.
