COMMUNITY HAS NO ADDRESS. ❤️

A couple of weeks ago, we received a message through the Nextdoor app from a community member named Joanne Good, who reached out with an incredibly thoughtful offer:

“Good morning! I have 4 boxes left of 18mo-3T girl clothing I’d love to donate. I checked my address radius to you all and it’s 10 miles, 23 min… if that’s too far- I can drive it to you all- and if you’ve plans to head this way- let me know- happy to coordinate. Thank you in advance 😊”

She had originally reached out on Nextdoor and was provided with our contact information.

Fast forward to this weekend. What started as a simple message turned into a beautiful example of what community truly looks like.

After a day of planned family activities, both our founder and Joanne made time to meet up, coordinate the donation, and make something meaningful happen.

Think about that for a moment. It was the weekend. Both had other things going on. Yet they still took time out of their day to come together in support of a community organization and, ultimately, families who could use a little extra help.

Four boxes of clothing may seem like a small gesture to some, but to a family welcoming a growing child, it can mean so much.

At Serve Aurora, we believe community service isn’t just about large events, major donations, or public recognition. It’s about everyday people choosing to show up for one another.

Joanne, thank you for thinking of us, for your generosity, and for taking the time to coordinate with us. We appreciate you!

And to everyone watching: you don’t have to be a business, sponsor, or major donor to make a difference. Sometimes all it takes is a message, a little time, and a willingness to help.

Community has no address. Community has no schedule. And kindness doesn’t take weekends off.

🌙🎃 AS HALLOWEEN NIGHT FALLS OVER AURORA, WE HAVE ONE MESSAGE: THANK YOU. 🧡

As the pumpkins light up, costumes fill the neighborhoods, and another Halloween comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize the people who make our community special.

To the parents who created memories with their children, the businesses that welcomed families, the volunteers who gave their time, the organizations that showed up, and the neighbors who made someone smile today — THANK YOU.

At Serve Aurora, we believe that meaningful community change starts with people who care.

Our mission extends beyond a single event or holiday. Through community outreach, education, mentorship, cultural initiatives, safety programs, and partnerships, we remain committed to making a difference throughout Aurora and beyond.

To everyone who has supported our founders and the Serve Aurora family, we appreciate you.

And as we close out Halloween 2026, remember:

The best thing we can give our community isn’t candy, decorations, or even an event.

It’s showing up for one another.

🧡 From our family to yours, Happy Halloween!

Stay safe tonight, look out for your neighbors, and enjoy every moment.

📊 WE DON’T PAY FOR ADS. LET THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES! 💙

The last 7 days of promoting our 2026 Trunk or Treat have shown what organic social media marketing, creativity, and consistency can accomplish!

FROM GROWING UP ON HAVANA STREET TO GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY THAT RAISED US. 💙

There is something incredibly special about seeing Serve Aurora featured on the social media pages and official website of !

For our founders, Alexander Nieves and Jeremiah Banks, Havana Street isn’t just another business district in Aurora, Colorado. It’s part of our story.

Growing up just a few blocks away, riding bikes, hanging out with friends, and making childhood memories around the Havana Street area, we never imagined that one day we would be helping organize community events right here.

In fact, some of Serve Aurora’s founders’ first jobs were right here on Havana Street.

Fast forward to today, and we’re bringing families, businesses, volunteers, and neighbors together through Serve Aurora Events—including our recent 2026 Trunk or Treat at CarNova, located at 890 S Havana Street!

Seeing our event recognized and shared by makes this experience even more meaningful. It’s a reminder of how far a local idea can grow and how special it is to give back to the same community where so many of our memories began.

A huge thank-you to On Havana Street for helping spotlight local events and organizations, and to CarNova for being our location sponsor and helping make this community celebration possible.

This is what community looks like. It’s about remembering where you came from, investing in where you are, and creating something meaningful for the next generation.

We didn’t just host an event on Havana Street. We came home to the community that helped shape our story. 💙
