Montbello Organizing Committee Montbello Organizing Committee (MOC) is dedicated to empowering the Montbello community, igniting collective action and unity among its residents.

Since August 2013, MOC has worked to build the infrastructure to engage residents of Montbello around issues impacting the community. The overreaching goal of MOC is to galvanize residents and help develop their leadership skills so that the community can proactively address the issues residents identify. MOC has laid the framework for success. Desde Agosto 2013, MOC ha trabajado para construir una infraestructura que atrae a residentes de Montbello hacia cuestiones que impactan a la comunidad. These are the conversations we're bringing to the table through MOC's Nonprofit Leadership Center: From Surviving to Thriving -A Nonprofit Financial Sustainability Series.

Federal changes are coming to Colorado’s Medicaid program, Health First Colorado. Starting Oct. 1, some immigrants who currently qualify may lose full coverage — but many people will not be affected. If you are, you’ll receive a letter from Health First Colorado before anything changes.

What to do now, before Oct. 1:
◽️ Update your information at Colorado PEAK (co.gov/PEAK), the Health First Colorado app, or your county human services office.
◽️ Use your coverage now — schedule medical, dental, and behavioral health appointments and refill prescriptions.
◽️ Watch for official letters and respond to any you receive.
◽️ Visit or contact Denver Human Services for help reviewing your case. And go to denvergov.org/immigrantsupport for additional community resources.
