It's not too late, but registration deadlines for our fall camps are fast approaching!

FAMILY CAMP
SEPT. 4-6 - DEADLINE SEPT. 1

Family Camp is coming up NEXT WEEKEND, and registration closes September 1st. Make sure to sign-up if you want to join us for this weekend of camp adventures and spiritual growth for all ages - https://www.campmardela.org/event-details/family-camp-5

If you plan on coming to the church service on Sunday, September 6th, it is free, but there is a $10 fee if you just plan on staying for Sunday Lunch. You can also check out the Family Camp schedule below to plan you weekend!

BIRDING RETREAT
SEPT. 18-20 - DEADLINE SEPT. 6

Enjoy a weekend on the Eastern Shore, going on special birding excursions to see the wide array of bird species in this region. Stay overnight in the King Retreat Center, or if you are local, you can come join us for the day's events! The group will carpool together when possible, but locals may choose to just meet the group at the scheduled locations.

We're here at Vanderwende's for our ice cream fundraiser today! We've already seen a few friends.

If you want to have a sweet treat and support camp at the same time, stop at the vanderwen's on Hickman Road in Delaware! Make sure you bring your flyer and 15% will be donated back to Camp Mardela!

SAVE THE DATE!

The Camp Supper has been rescheduled to November 14th, 2026. More details about the supper will come within the coming months. We know this is a change from the traditional timing, but with new leadership for the summer, we are hopeful that this will give us time to rally the volunteers and make a plan to ensure that this supper is done well and enjoyable for all.

Thank you for your understanding and we are glad that we are able to host this favorite fall fundraiser!

Do you want to give a gift to Camp Mardela that will keep on giving?

Then you can help us as we begin our fundraising campaign to start an Endowment Fund! Our goal is to raise $25,000 to start this fund.

Right now, our fundraisers raise funds for specific projects and operations at camp that are used to meet immediate needs. While that is helpful, this endowment will be a long-range investment that will generate interest that will benefit camp for many years into the future.

Family Camp is coming up on Labor Day weekend - September 4-6, 2026!

The theme is "Affirming Original Goodness" and our guest speaker Rusty Curling will dive into how we are all made in God's image, and how to live faithfully as His image-bearers.

We also have LOTS of fun activities planned, including swimming, boating, birding, archery, campfire cookouts, applesauce & ice-cream making, hay rides, and more! We will also have a free church service open to the public Sunday, September 6th at 10:30am at our pavilion.

WE HAVE FIGS!

Our tree has just started to produce, and there is a lot of fruit! Come visit our little produce stand at the end of the camp lane and make a donation if you would like any of this fresh produce :)
