C.I.A. ~ Cubs in Action

Supporting another local organization, members of the Cub Club and other young people from our community stepped up to help the American Legion with their first breakfast of the season. The extra hands were welcomed and received lots of compliments and thanks!

After feeding this group of youth volunteers, the Legion breakfast committee served over 200 guests this morning.

Following the Lions Club International spirit of service and motto “Where there's a need, there's a Lion", the Cub Club is eager to serve.

Saving aluminum pull tabs for Maryland’s Ronald McDonald House is a project the Cub Club continues to support. Reach out to one of the members to help them in this effort.

From ~ https://ronaldmcdonaldhousemd.org

“Maryland’s only Ronald McDonald House has been collecting aluminum pull-tabs since 1996.

Pull for the house that love built!

Ronald McDonald House Maryland takes the pull-tabs to a local recycling center where they are redeemed for cash. This money is used to purchase gas for our shuttle that takes our families to and from area hospitals.”

🚨 EVENT CANCELED – FALL FEST CAKE WHEEL 🚨

Unfortunately, due to the high winds and weather conditions, Clayton Farms has made the decision to cancel today’s Fall Fest event. 🌬️

As a result, the Denton Cub Club Cake Wheel will also be canceled today. 🍰

While we are disappointed that we won’t get to see everyone today, we completely understand that everyone’s safety comes first. ❤️

We also want to assure everyone who generously donated baked goods that we are actively looking for another opportunity to sell the donated cakes and cookies so we can still raise funds for our charity. If that is not possible, we will find a deserving local organization or cause where the baked goods can be donated and enjoyed. We want to make sure all of the time, effort, and love our Cubs, families, and supporters put into their donations does not go to waste! 🍪🧁❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who baked, donated, volunteered, and supported this service project. Your generosity is truly appreciated, and we will keep everyone updated on where all those delicious donations end up!

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post so no one makes the trip out today.

Stay safe, everyone! ❤️
