We are USA Tax exempted 501(c)3 Non Profit ministry supporting orphans, widows, elderly as well as doing Evangelical Outreaches in Uganda East Africa. Vangrace Compassion Ministries with several child development and community empowerment programs which are all designed at impacting and them transforming them both their lives as well as their very poor communities. Among the core support we give to the children is food, medication, education as well as shelter at God's Village located along the very poor vulnerable island called Bujjako in Uganda. "God's Village" a name given to VCM land were VCM shelter/ home, school of orphans, dumped and abandoned children and Vangrace Compassion Ministries Headquarters are. ❤️ MORE THAN FRIENDS — GROWING TOGETHER AS FAMILY 🌿

Four beautiful smiles. Four young lives. One beautiful picture of friendship and belonging! 🥰❤️

Look at these beautiful children! Their arms around one another, their cheerful smiles, and the simple happiness of being together remind us of something we deeply value here at God’s Village.

Children need more than food, clothing, education, and a safe place to grow. They also need friendship, love, acceptance, and the beautiful feeling that they belong. ❤️

Sometimes, these important gifts are expressed in the simplest moments:

A hand resting on a friend’s shoulder.
A smile shared with someone beside you.
The happiness of growing up with people who care about you.

These may seem like ordinary childhood moments, but they are part of something much bigger.

Here at God’s Village, we are not simply helping children get through today. We are nurturing relationships, building confidence, encouraging a sense of family, and creating an environment where every child can feel valued, loved, and supported as they grow. 🌱

Because childhood is not only about preparing for tomorrow. It is also about experiencing love, family, laughter, and belonging today. ❤️

When we look at these four beautiful faces, we are reminded that the future we are building is about much more than buildings, classrooms, and programs.

Look at these three boys! 😂❤️

Just an open space, a beautiful day, and three children enjoying the simple happiness of being children!

And judging by how high they jumped, I think someone was trying to fly! 😂🙌

But behind this beautiful photograph is something that means so much to us here at **God’s Village**.

**Childhood should be filled with more than simply getting through each day.**

It should have moments of laughter, friendship, discovery, play and the freedom to dream.

Every child deserves opportunities to learn, grow, feel loved and experience the simple joys of childhood.

That is part of what we are working to build at God’s Village. ❤️

A place where children are not only cared for, but also encouraged to discover their abilities, build friendships, grow in confidence and look toward a brighter tomorrow.

🔥 **IGNITING THE FIRE — ENCOUNTER TWO**

**BAPTISM OF FIRE** 🔥📖 **Acts 2:1–4 | Matthew 25:1–13**

**IS YOUR LAMP STILL BURNING? ARE YOU READY FOR THE BRIDEGROOM?**

Yesterday's opportunity to share this sermon message may have passed, but its message is just as important for your life today!

As we continue our sermon season series, **IGNITING THE FIRE**, at **God's Village Church**, Encounter Two brings you a powerful reminder: **BAPTISM OF FIRE.**

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. All ten carried lamps, but only five were wise enough to bring extra oil.

When the bridegroom finally arrived, only those who were prepared entered with him.

**Now, here is the question for you: Are you carrying a lamp that is still burning, or are you slowly running out of oil?**

You may attend church, sing in worship, pray and even serve in ministry. But beyond these outward activities, **what is the condition of your heart before God?**

In Acts 2:1–4, the disciples were gathered together when the Holy Spirit came upon them, and tongues like fire appeared among them.

That same passage reminds you of your need for the Holy Spirit's power as you walk with Christ.

🔥 **Do not settle for the appearance of faith when God is calling you into a deeper relationship with Him.**

🔥 **Do not allow disappointment, distractions or the pressures of life to make your spiritual fire grow cold.**

🔥 **Seek the Holy Spirit's strength to live faithfully, overcome temptation and serve God's purpose for your life.**

🔥 **Keep your heart spiritually awake, because you do not know the day or hour when the Bridegroom will come.**

Remember this:

**A lamp without oil cannot keep burning. And a life that neglects spiritual watchfulness can gradually lose its fervency.**

Perhaps your passion for prayer has weakened. Perhaps your hunger for God's Word is no longer what it used to be. Perhaps you have become comfortable with simply going through the motions of Christianity.

**But today, God is calling you to awaken, draw closer to Him and keep your lamp burning!** 🔥

You do not have to remain spiritually cold. Return to prayer. Return to the Word. Seek the Lord wholeheartedly and ask Him to renew your strength through His Holy Spirit.

🙏 **MAKE THIS YOUR PERSONAL PRAYER TODAY:**

**LORD, KEEP MY LAMP BURNING, MY HEART READY, AND MY SPIRIT FERVENT. FILL ME AFRESH WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT AND HELP ME REMAIN FAITHFUL UNTIL YOU COME!**

📖 **Romans 12:11** — “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.”

❤️🌱 LOOK HOW FAR SHE HAS COME — CELEBRATING VERONICA!

Some photographs bring back memories. Others remind us just how beautiful it is to watch someone grow. ❤️

Today, I found myself looking at an old childhood photograph of our dear Veronica, alongside these more recent pictures, and I couldn't help but smile. 😊

Oh, how the years have passed!

Many of our longtime friends at God's Village may remember Veronica from some of our earlier HOPE ALIVE: REAL STORIES, REAL IMPACT updates.

And today, we have another beautiful reason to celebrate her—not because of where her journey began, but because of the wonderful young woman she is becoming. ❤️

Seeing her smile, enjoy time with her friends, and grow in confidence brings so much joy to our hearts.

One of the things I have always admired about Veronica is her dream of becoming a doctor someday. 🩺🌱

As she continues growing, learning, and discovering the possibilities ahead of her, our prayer is that God will guide her steps, strengthen her abilities, and help her fulfill the beautiful purpose He has for her life.

At God's Village, these are some of the moments we treasure most.

Watching our children grow from one season of life into another, celebrating their progress, encouraging their dreams, and reminding them that they are loved and valued.

Because every child deserves more than a place to belong—they deserve people who believe in who they are and who they can become. ❤️

Veronica, if you happen to read this someday, always remember that we are proud of you, we love you, and we believe in your future. ❤️🙏

🌳😂❤️ **LOOK WHAT WE FOUND — A GIANT JACKFRUIT!**

Sometimes the simplest moments bring the biggest smiles! 😄❤️

Just look at this enormous jackfruit and the beautiful smiles of our two boys here at God's Village!

And judging by those smiles, I think the excitement was just as big as the fruit itself! 😂🌱

These are some of the moments I treasure most—watching our children enjoy the simple blessings around them, laugh together, discover new things, and make beautiful childhood memories.

At God's Village, we believe raising children is about more than meeting their everyday needs. It is also about creating a loving family environment where they can experience joy, belonging, learning, and opportunities to grow. ❤️

🌱 **Big fruit. Bigger smiles. And a future full of possibilities!**

🛠️❤️ AS PROMISED — HERE ARE SOME OF OUR GOD’S VILLAGE SCHOOL DESK DESIGNS!
Three days ago, while sharing about repairing one of our old school desks, our friend Brandon asked to see some of the other desk designs we have made over the years.

So I went back into our photo archives and found these memories. 😊

These photographs were taken during the time we were fabricating our metal school desks here at God’s Village. Over the years, we experimented with several designs—learning what worked best, improving along the way, and eventually making more than 50 desks for our children.

Some were larger shared desks, while others were smaller designs like the one you can see our children actually using in the last photograph. ❤️

What makes these pictures especially meaningful to me is remembering that much of this was done right here at God’s Village with our own welding machine.

We were not simply buying finished furniture—we were learning, building, repairing and developing practical skills along the way.

That is why repairing one of those old desks a few days ago brought back so many memories. It reminded me how far we have come—and why I want the next generation of our children to have opportunities to learn practical skills alongside their education. 🌱

Old photographs. Different designs. One purpose: creating better opportunities for our children. ❤️

🔨 TODAY WAS FENCE-REPAIR DAY ! 🌱
Sometimes caring for God’s Village means doing the ordinary jobs that protect everything growing inside. ❤️

Today, we spent much of the day working along our boundary and closing some of the gaps in our old fence.

Over time, our barbed-wire fence has become badly worn, and many of the wooden posts holding it have weakened or been eaten by termites. This has created openings where animals from the surrounding community can sometimes wander into the compound.

Unfortunately, when that happens, our gardens and crops can suffer significant damage. 🌱
So today we got to work! 💪

For now, we are using living fence stems/plants, placing them closely along some of the weak sections as a practical temporary barrier while we work toward a stronger and more permanent solution.

Our hope for the future is to replace the weak wooden posts with metal angle-bar posts, install new barbed wire, and—if God provides the opportunity—eventually strengthen vulnerable sections with wire-mesh fencing.

Protecting the boundary may not seem like a big ministry story, but protecting the land also means protecting the gardens, crops and resources that help us care for our children. ❤️🌱

Little by little, we keep building, repairing, planting and believing.

🙏 Please keep the God’s Village gardens and crops in your prayers—that what is planted here will be protected, grow well and become a blessing for many.

❤️ CARING FOR A CHILD MEANS CARING FOR THE WHOLE CHILD.
Today was another important day at God’s Village. ❤️
Healthcare workers from our nearby government health facility came directly to God’s Village as part of the National Immunization Days, giving eligible children under five their vaccinations and updating their immunization records.

There were a few brave faces… and, of course, a few tears. 🥹❤️

But perhaps one of my favorite moments was watching Mama Prossy hold and comfort one of our little ones during his vaccination.

Because here, healthcare is more than an injection or an immunization card.

It is making sure a child feels safe, loved and surrounded by people who care.

At God’s Village, our commitment to children reaches into the everyday things that help them grow well—education, nutritious meals, healthcare, Christian discipleship, protection, encouragement, play and the love of family. 🌱

We are especially grateful to the healthcare workers who came to serve the children today and to Uganda’s Ministry of Health for making these immunization services accessible to families in our community.

And after the tears? ❤️ Just look at those smiles and those little blue cards held proudly in the air! 😊
These may look like ordinary moments, but to us they represent something much bigger:

Children being cared for today so they can grow toward healthier, brighter tomorrows.

This is the heart of God’s Village.
