🐾💙💛 WELCOME TO THE CFEO TEAM, BRYAN! 💜🧡🐅

We’re excited to introduce Bryan Kida, the newest addition to the CFEO Board of Directors! Bryan joined our team in September, and we’re looking forward to getting to know him and seeing the partnerships and possibilities that grow from having him on board. 🙌

Bryan has spent the past four years with the City of Caldwell, working in the Mayor’s Office before joining the Economic Development Department in January 2026. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, and brings a diverse professional background in sales, marketing, church ministry, administration, and higher education.

Outside of work, Bryan has been married for 15 years and is a proud dad of three. He enjoys playing guitar, pickleball, and slow-pitch softball and has 2 doodles at home! 🐶🎸⚾

Most importantly, Bryan brings a genuine desire to support and encourage Caldwell students in any way he can. That heart for students is exactly what makes CFEO special. 💙💜

🐾💙💛 WELCOME TO THE CFEO TEAM, BRENNAN! 💜🧡🐅

We’re excited to shine a spotlight on Brennan Wurtz, who joined the CFEO Board of Directors a few months ago and has already jumped right in! 🙌

Brennan is a Caldwell High School teacher, where he teaches advanced history courses. Over his 12-year career in education, he has taught every subject in the Social Studies department. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Boise State University and has a deep commitment to supporting Caldwell students and schools.

He’s already shared his time and talents through CFEO's Heritage & Communications Committee, and we’re so grateful for his perspective, energy, and passion.

What makes Brennan’s connection to CFEO especially meaningful is that he has seen firsthand the difference our Foundation makes in the lives of students. 💙 He has watched his own students benefit from CFEO’s support and now he’s helping us continue that work!

Thank you, Brennan, for sharing your time, talents, and heart with CFEO. We’re so happy you’re part of the team! 🎓✨🐾🐅

❤️ Happy Labor Day Weekend, Caldwell! ❤️

As we head into the first extended weekend of the school year, we hope our students, families, teachers, and staff take a little time to slow down, recharge, and enjoy being together.

Labor Day began as a way to recognize and celebrate the contributions of American workers and the important role they play in building our communities. Today, it’s also a wonderful reminder to pause and appreciate the people who work hard every day to make our schools, families, and community stronger. 🫶

So whether your weekend includes a backyard BBQ, a trip to the mountains, a game of pickleball, a family adventure, or simply some much-needed time at home... enjoy it! ☀️🌲🍔

🎉 Celebrating 100 Years of Dorothy M. Kidd! 🎉

What a wonderful milestone to celebrate! We are honored to recognize Dorothy Kidd as she reaches her 100th birthday and to celebrate the lasting impact she has made on generations of Caldwell students.

Dorothy dedicated her professional life to education in the Caldwell School District, as a teacher, high school guidance counselor, and School Board Trustee. Her commitment to students and to expanding educational opportunities continues today through the Dorothy M. Kidd Scholarship Fund.

Each year, the scholarship supports between 3 to 5 graduating seniors from Caldwell High School or Canyon Springs High School who plan to pursue higher education and has demonstrated strong character, a good work ethic, service to others, and a desire to reach their full potential. The scholarship was created with a special purpose: to recognize deserving students who may not otherwise have received a CFEO scholarship.

What a beautiful legacy.... investing in young people and helping open doors to their future. 💙💛

Please join us in wishing Dorothy Kidd a very happy 100th birthday and in celebrating a century of dedication to education, students, and the Caldwell community!

We are so grateful for her vision, generosity, and enduring belief in our students. ❤️
