We believe every child deserves the opportunity to play, compete, and be part of Bulldog Nation!

If registration costs are creating a hardship, several organizations offer grants and financial assistance for youth sports participation, registration fees, uniforms, and equipment.

🏈📣 What an incredible evening at our DeLand Youth Football & Cheer Summer Clinic! 💚💛🤍

We had a great turnout of young athletes who came ready to learn, work hard, and have fun. From football fundamentals to cheer motions, jumps, teamwork, and confidence-building activities, our athletes showed tremendous effort every single day.

At DeLand Youth Football & Cheer, we believe success isn’t just about the final result—it’s about the process. It’s about showing up, listening, learning, practicing, making mistakes, improving, and growing one step at a time. The skills our athletes develop through dedication and hard work will serve them both on and off the field.

We are so proud of every athlete who participated and grateful to our coaches, volunteers, and families who helped make this clinic a success.

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, father figures, and mentors who make a difference in the lives of our athletes every day.

Thank you for the early mornings, long practices, game-day support, endless encouragement, and the countless sacrifices you make behind the scenes. Your love, guidance, and dedication help shape not only great athletes, but great young people.

Q: How do I get Payment Assistance?

A: Payment Assistance, also known as scholarships, is available to families who demonstrate financial need and meet eligibility requirements.
We encourage families to apply through the following programs:

🏈 All Kids Play Youth Sports Grants
Provides funding to families who may not have the resources to pay for youth sports participation. Grants may be used for registration fees, equipment, and other sports-related expenses. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis to qualifying families with children in grades K–12.

📣 Every Kid Sports Pass
Applications open June 23rd. This national scholarship program assists families who meet income-based qualifications such as participation in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC.
Every Kid Sports may provide up to $150 toward registration fees, and families may qualify multiple times per year.

🏈 DeLand Bulldogs Scholarship Program
Families may also apply directly through the DeLand Bulldogs Scholarship Program. The application requires household information, annual household income, and supporting documentation such as a W-2, pay stub, or employer letter. Scholarship recipients may be responsible for up to $100 of registration costs and must complete volunteer hours as requested by the Board of Directors. Applications are reviewed by the Board, and athletes are added to the roster upon approval.
Families receiving assistance through DeLand Bulldogs are expected to fulfill volunteer commitments, including game days, fundraisers, and league events. Failure to meet volunteer obligations may affect eligibility for future scholarship assistance.
