💕 A little late, but SO worth the wait! 💕
First, forgive the delay in getting these photos and this recap posted! Wedding season has been keeping me BUSY, and unfortunately, trying to edit meetup photos while I’m in the middle of editing a wedding is a recipe for crashing my entire computer. 😂 So here we are, a week later, but I couldn’t let this incredible West Volusia meetup go by without giving it the love it deserves!
Last week’s Wednesday, our babes took over Dyno Climb DeLand, and a huge thank-you goes to Melody for hosting us, especially while her hubby was competing in an international climbing competition with climbers coming that weekend from all over the world! Talk about a family that keeps things interesting! 🧗♀️❤️
We also had the incredibly talented Natasha Callahan as our speaker, and WOW, what an inspiring story she shared with us!
Natasha told us about her journey from being an art school girl in Ukraine to pursuing psychology, presenting at conferences on a massive scale, and eventually finding her way back to her passion for art. Hearing how her path evolved was such a powerful reminder that sometimes the biggest thing standing between us and the life we want is our own belief in ourselves.
We can talk ourselves out of our dreams before we ever give them a real chance. We can convince ourselves we aren’t ready, aren’t capable, or that it’s too late to change direction. But when we finally start believing in ourselves and give our passions the room to grow? Just look at how far they can take us! ✨
That tied in perfectly with our conversation about what growth really looks like. Growth isn’t always bigger numbers, more clients, or a bigger business. Sometimes it’s building better systems, learning to ask for help, finding more balance, or finally having the courage to pursue something that lights you up.
We talked about the five core pillars of growth and how being intentional about our capacity, finances, systems, support, and desire can help us recognize where we are, where we want to go, and what needs to change to get us there. Because growth is wonderful, but growing with intention means making sure we’re building something that actually supports the life and business we want!
And last but certainly not least, I have to give the biggest THANK YOU to all the wonderful babes who spoiled me for my birthday! 🥹💕 I genuinely was not expecting all those gifts, and you girls made me feel so loved and celebrated. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know!
This is what Babes, Booze, & Business is all about. We show up for each other, learn from each other, celebrate each other, and remind one another of what’s possible when we stop playing small and start believing in ourselves.
Thank you, West Volusia, for another wonderful night of connection, inspiration, and growth! And Natasha, thank you for sharing your story and reminding us that sometimes the next chapter begins when we finally give ourselves permission to believe we can do it. 💕
