Scout the wonder dog here. My humans took me to Cat Rock in Weston for another open space walking adventure. This place gets a five paw review! Great trails, brook and a pond, met some new fur friends to run with! Great morning retreat. Just a note, parking open to non Weston residents only during the week.

Just a note to our - we normally hold our monthly meetings on the last Thursday of the month, but with so many already vacationing before Labor Day, we decided to skip this month. Thursday Oct 1st will be our next meeting - special Water edition meeting!

Just over the bridge from Dedham, is The Needham Reservoir Trail (also known as the Amity Path) is a short, ADA-accessible 0.5-mile loop trail that circles the Needham Reservoir.

This photograph was taken by Peter H. Reynolds on a walk at the end of the day. We’re hoping to have something similar in Dedham when the Wigwam Pond project is completed. This is just one of the projects that our coalition is advocating for. Come join us on the last Thursday of every month where we gather to talk about all things concerning greenspace and waterways.

Your Dedham Conservation Commission invites you to the 3rd annual Dedham Biodiversity Day on Saturday, August 15, 9AM to 3PM at the Dolan Center (rain date: Sunday, Aug 16). This event is FREE and family-friendly!

Scout the wonder dog here! Yesterday my humans headed out to South Natick to see the deconstruction of the South Natick Dam on the Charles River. I think this is the first of several dams that will be removed from the river. For more info check out the Charles River Watershed Associations web page.
