TILL’s Annual Pumpkin Painting 👻🎃

Things got a little spooky this year! Everyone started with a ghost on the front of their pumpkin. Then we turned them around and let everyone paint whatever they wanted on the back. No two pumpkins looked the same, and that was the best part.

Individuals in their literacy class are sharpening their reading and writing by connecting letters to the places and brands they see every day. A for Amazon, D for Dunkin'. It's such a creative way to make learning stick!

Huge shoutout to Mercedes Orozco, a retired teacher who leads the class and keeps everyone engaged and excited to learn. It's incredible to see, and a great reminder that learning never stops.💜

Hired in April for relief work at Billerica Day Hab and a residence in Burlington, by August, Simon Tuai was promoted to RSP at our residence in Lexington. ETC's Saturday Marketplace is back this Saturday, October 10th, and we want you there! 🎃

Head over to Essence of Thyme Gift Shop and Cafe from 10 AM–3 PM to shop local, meet the makers, and get into the Halloween spirit. Expect handmade goods, vintage finds, seasonal décor, and unique gifts from vendors in the community. It's indoors, so come rain or shine!
