Through friendship and social interaction the Dedham Junior Woman's Club works to encourage its members to be active volunteers in the community through a variety of projects. An international women’s organization, the GFWC is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Established in 1979, the DJWC has been involved in virtually every facet of community life in Dedham by assisting schools, athletic organizations, public service departments (police and fire), cultural organizations, and non-profit service organizations such as the Dedham Food Pantry and Dedham Youth Commission. The DJWC membership includes women of all ages from all corners of Dedham and neighboring communities, and welcomes interested women to join us in our volunteer efforts.
