DeKalb Workforce Development (DWD) is a division of the DeKalb County Government, under the executive office of the CEO of DeKalb County.

The mission of DeKalb Workforce Development (DWD) is to promote and support a workforce system that creates value and offers employers, jobseekers, and community organizations the opportunity to achieve and sustain economic prosperity. The mission is accomplished through education, employment and economic development. DWD provides a broad range of services through unified education, training and e

mployment programs. DeKalb Workforce Development is a comprehensive one stop center with a host of partnering agencies. The program works with jobseekers, educational providers, and employers. In addition, DWD offers a host of funded custom training programs. The services are 100% Federally Funded via the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act by the USDOL.
