Growing Through Grief A social service offering programmes and workshops in the area of change, loss and grief. These are run either in some schools or in afterschool locations.

Locations: Tauranga-Te Puke, Ōpōtiki, Whakatāne, Rotorua, Taupō, Tairāwhiti, Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, Central Hawke’s Bay, Tararua. Growing Through Grief is a social service of the Anglican Diocese of Waiapu, providing programmes in the areas of change, loss, and grief. pal activity of Growing Through Grief is the delivery of the Seasons for Growth® range of evidence-based peer support change, loss, and grief educational programmes. These programmes aim to strengthen the social and emotional wellbeing and help people learn that they are not alone in dealing with the effects of change and offer help in understanding their experience and attend well to their grief. Children/Young People Programmes:
Run termly, once a week for 1 hour, for 8 weeks. Adult Programmes:
Exploring the Seasons of Grief
Run at various times of the year, 4 sessions, 2.5 hours per session. Parent/Whānau Workshops:
Supporting your child following the death of someone they love
Supporting our child following a separation or divorce
Run at various times in the year, 1-2 sessions, 2.5 hours per session. Professional Development Seminar:
Understanding Change, Loss, and Grief
Run at various times in the year, 3.5-hour seminar. All programmes/workshops/seminars have an enrolment process.

18 community-led su***de prevention projects funded across Aotearoa
The Mental Health Foundation is proud to announce the 18 successful recipients of the All-of-Population Su***de Prevention Community Fund, with $1.5 million going towards community-led su***de prevention and postvention projects across Aotearoa.
