Meet Jack!
This handsome lovable dog is the definition of a perfect companion. He’s basically a walking, wagging bundle of love. He’s got the looks, he’s got the personality, and he’s got one very important life goal: to be your shadow.
Jack is 8 years old, weights 16 pounds, and he has so much love to share in his perfect little body.

Jack is a certified Velcro dog and prefers to be where you are. He thinks personal space is overrated! He sticks himself right next to you, whether you’re cooking, having dinner, or just relaxing on the couch.
He is also a big snuggle bug. He will sleep in bed with you, all snuggled up, as close as he can, ready to wake up when you do.
Because Jack loves people and prefers to be close them, someone home most of the time would greatly benefit him

Jack also loves to go on walks, but he prefers to walk you. He chooses his routes and likes to lead the way, marking every fire hydrant, plant, and pole. Leash skills is a work in progress but he’s a quick learner.

Jack has wonderful house manners. He is potty trained and crate trained. He does great with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. He has not been around kids in his foster home but we have no doubt that he’d love them just as much as he loves his family.

Jack is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and current on heartworm preventions and microchipped!

🐾 ANAKIN IS READY FOR HIS FAMILY! 🐾
Anakin is such a big ol’ lover boy. ❤️ This handsome guy absolutely loves his people and would make someone an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
One of his favorite things is finding a nice patch of cool grass, stretching out, and rolling around without a care in the world. 😂 He also LOVES a good game of fetch or tug-of-war — although he's a pretty strong boy, so good luck winning! He’s also perfectly content settling down with a good chewy and just enjoying life. 😊
Anakin is almost 8 years old and:
🐾 Fully vetted
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Has been around respectful children
🐾 Full of love and ready for a home of his own
Anakin does have one little quirk: he is dog selective. He gets along well with some dogs and not with others, particularly dogs with more dominant personalities. Any potential canine sibling would need to be carefully considered and properly introduced.
He has shown quite a bit of curiosity toward cats, so we feel a cat-free home would be the safest choice rather than taking that risk.
Anakin isn't asking for much. Give him his people, some grass to roll around in, a good chewy, and plenty of love, and you've got one happy boy. ❤️
At almost 8 years old, he deserves to spend the rest of his years knowing exactly where he belongs.

SOOO...as many of you know from our post last week, we recently took in 9 mini poodle/maltese breed dogs from a breeder who's health is failing.
There were 2 left that she wanted to keep at first, but with some discussion, she has realized that it's best for her to surrender them to us as well, in hopes of finding them great homes and to allow her to focus on her health and hopefully getting better.
We are grateful that she made this choice and wish her the best for get her health in check.

Meet Bree and Toby.
Bree is a 4 1/2 year old female mini poodle. Toby is a 1 1/2 year old male maltipoo. They will be available for foster to adopt while their vetting is completed, as are some of the original 9 still.

Rescue takes a community. We absolutely know it is something that we cannot do on our own.

All 11 dogs of this unexpected, emergency intake require not only their core vetting...vaccinations, heartworm tests, microchips, spaying, neutering, dewormer and of course monthly heartworm prevention while in rescue... 8 also need dentals (starting at $325 each), plus we have extra expenses for undecended testicles on one boy, retained baby teeth needing removed on another, and an umbilical hernia repair on another. These expenses are above and beyond our core vetting.

Our adoption fees barely cover the basic vetting and food expenses.

We were EXTREMELY BLESSED to have their grooming donated. Check out our last post about that!

We need to raise funds to help cover vetting expenses when we run into situations like this intake.

If you are able to donate, we would be so thankful. It's how we can continue to change and save the lives of dogs and cats in our community!
