The trees are set! There are 30 trees to view at the festival THIS WEEKEND. There are some really unique and creative designs this year so make sure to save some time in your weekend to visit the festival!

While attending the festival you can cash vote for your favorite tree in the hatboxes beside each tree! We are having a competition and will announce the trees that receive the most cash votes at the end of the festival. All cash votes are donated to the LifeWise programs in Adams County.

🎄Bring your family to Christmas magic this weekend and suppourt all the Adams County Lifewise programs! You wont want to miss this!

Lights for LifeWise 2025 begins FRIDAY! Make sure as you are setting your plans for next weekend you plan to stop by the Lighthouse in Monroe to attend this magical event! Grab your friends, plan a date night, or plan a local Christmas outing for the family! There will be something for everyone! The festival will have 25+ Christmas trees decorated by local individuals, groups, and businesses.

There are also photo stations throughout the festival, a food truck on Saturday, and live music on Saturday at 6 PM.

For kids, there is an opportunity to see Santa (see hours), a scavenger hunt throughout the festival where they can earn a free cookie, and each child attending the festival will get a "Kids Vote" ticket so they can vote on their favorite tree. A Kids Choice winner will be announced at the end of the festival.

How does a tree festival raise funds for LifeWise?

1. Ticket entry - Tickets are $5 per person. Kids 10 and under are FREE as we want this to be an affordable event for the whole family!

2. Cash vote for your favorite trees - who doesn't love a little friendly Christmas competition???? As you walk the festival, remember to bring your change, bills, or checkbooks an add money to the hat boxes next to your favorite trees! A winner of the tree that raises the most funds will be announced at the end of the festival!

3. Purchase food and crafts - We will have cocoa bombs, cocoa, cookies and wooden creations available for purchase!

Don't forget to save some time next weekend to attend Lights for LifeWise 2025! We hope to see you there!

Did you know Lights for LifeWise is an affordable family event? Bring your kids, big and small to the festival. Kids 10 and under are FREE!

This week, our students learned about ✨COMPASSION✨ from the story of Jonah! Jonah didn’t have compassion for the people of Nineveh. God told him to do something we wasn’t ccomforatble doing! We asked some of our more shy friends to go out of their comfort zone to do something silly in front of the class. Sometimes God calls us out of our comfort zone to do something that will serve others.

Do you have the gift of Dicernment? We played 2 truth and 1 lie with our students and they were convinced they could tell the lie Ms. Bri had told them, but they couldn’t. It can be hard to tell truth from lies in today’s world, but our kids learned that we can seek the answers from God and His word. What a blessing and honor we have to teach these students! ✨TIS THE SEASON✨The Lights for LifeWise Festival of Trees is coming up soon! Bring your family for a fun and affordable Chrsitmas event! Vote for your favorite tree, get hot cocoa and cookies, meet Santa and support all three Adams County LifeWise Programs! We will see you there!

Each and every one of us has been given unique gifts from God! Today we learned about Samson and his gift of strength! Our students to to see how hard it was to use their gifts (lifting a heavy box) while being inhibited (with oven mitts) when because we were not following the rules God gave us! We also saw the sacrifice Samson made by pushing down the pillars!

This week, students learned about CONFIDENCE and the Battle of Jericho! Ms. Bri was sick so Ms. Vanessa taught this lesson and didn’t get many photos! Our students got to reenact walking around the wall of Jericho and then shouting for the wall to fall down! Some students weren’t so sure about yelling inside and others leaped at the chance! This was a fun lesson for sure!

✨WHOLEHEARTEDNESS✨ A big word for a concept all our kids knew! Give 100% in everything you do! Today our students learned about the building of the the tabernacle! They were so excited to decorate their own tent as we found out how the first holy place of God’s people was made!

Today we learned about the Ten Commandments! We learned that God wants us to submit to Him and trust in His plan for our lives. Our kids always bring so much life and joy into our classes! We are truly blessed to do this ministry!

Lights for Lifewise is an amazing Tree Festival fundariaser for all 3 Adams County Lifewise Programs! More details will be posted about the event. But now we need Trees! Local groups or business can sign up to decorate a tree! It’s a great way to give back to the community while also adversting your company!
