One Hope Village

Sometimes loving our neighbors looks like helping meet an everyday need. 🏡

A single dad in our OHV community needs a bunk bed with mattresses for his family.

Have one in good condition to donate? Message us!

If you can’t donate, sharing this post could help connect us with someone who can. Thank you for being a village families can turn to!

Hope looks like someone choosing to show up. 💜
Sometimes it’s in the big moments. Other times, it looks like a hand to hold while finding your balance. 🛼

It’s encouragement, connection, laughter, and simply being there. These little moments are how relationships are built and how a Village begins to feel like family.

This is what hope looks like at One Hope Village.

What does showing up for someone look like to you? 🫶

Our first hand is filled! 🖐️❤️

Just like that, we are officially 1/100!

Our first Hope Partner has joined the Village and chosen to show up month after month for the children and families of One Hope Village.
One hand may be just the beginning, but every hand makes a difference. And we can’t wait to watch this Village grow. 🌱

Who will be next?

It takes every hand. 🖐️❤️

What could happen if 100 people simply chose to show up each month?

A meal shared around the table. Essentials for a family. Guidance and support. Meaningful experiences for children. Mentorship that builds lasting connection.
That’s the heart behind 100 Hands.

Our goal is to build a community of 100 monthly Hope Partners who choose to consistently show up for the children and families of One Hope Village.

You don’t have to do everything to make a difference. Whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $75 or $100 a month, every hand has a place in this Village.

We’re starting at 0/100. Will you add your hand? 🖐️

What do we do when a dad says he wants to learn how to braid his daughter’s hair? 🎀

We teach him, of course! 🥹🫶

Sometimes strengthening families looks like big milestones… and sometimes it looks like learning how to braid. 🤎

It’s in these little moments that confidence grows, connections deepen, and families get stronger.

🎈 Celebrating our September birthdays with a little extra love!

This month’s Birthday Tree gifts were made possible through a Modern Woodmen of America North Texas Region Do Good Grant from Michael Maggret. We’re so grateful for the generosity that helps us celebrate our families and remind them just how special they are. 🧡

Thank you for helping us make birthdays a little brighter! 🎁✨

A day well spent in our community. ☀️

We loved getting to be part of the WCCA - Meals On Wheels Wise County Health & Wellness Expo, connecting with others, sharing more about One Hope Village, and celebrating the people and organizations working to make our community stronger.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to show up, build connections, and share the hope behind what we do. 🌿

Around the table, we’re learning to speak a little more kindly, to ourselves and to one another. 🤎

This month’s Family Dinner focused on compassion, self-talk, and reframing negativity, with Brittany Morris leading such a meaningful conversation.

A big thank you to:
🍽️ Wise Choice Custom Meats & Kenepela’s Kitchen for the delicious Asian chicken
🧡 The Cash Flow BOSS, LLC for sponsoring our Family Dinners
🏠 Decatur Church of Christ for continuing to provide a place for us to gather

Good food, meaningful conversations, and a community that keeps showing up. This is what hope looks like around the table.
