June is National Reunification Month

This month, we celebrate families who have worked hard to heal, grow, and reunify.

When it is safe and in a child's best interest, reunification with family is always the primary goal. Through support, services, and perseverance, many families are able to overcome challenges and build a stronger future together.

At CASA of Wise & Jack Counties, we are proud to support children and families on their journey toward safe, stable, and permanent homes. 💙

We’re excited to share that CASA of Wise & Jack Counties was selected as 1 of only 8 organizations to participate in The Priddy Institute for Nonprofit Leadership Retreat!

This unique opportunity focused on strengthening board governance, organizational development, and long-term community impact. We’re grateful for the chance to learn, grow, and bring new ideas back to CASA as we continue advocating for children in foster care.

Investing in leadership today helps us better serve children tomorrow.

Make plans to join us next Monday, June 8, at Weatherford College for Youth Mental Health First Aid Training!

Sometimes first aid isn’t a bandage, CPR, or calling 9-1-1 — sometimes, first aid is YOU.

This important training helps adults recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges in young people and teaches practical ways to respond, support, and connect youth with help when they need it most.

This training is great for parents, teachers, coaches, mentors, church leaders, and anyone who works with or cares about youth.

💚 As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reminded how important it is to continue conversations around mental wellness, support, and community care all year long.

Earlier this month, Judge JD read a proclamation recognizing Mental Health Awareness Month and the importance of education, advocacy, and access to resources for individuals and families in our community.

CASA of Wise & Jack Counties is proud to stand alongside other local organizations working to promote hope, connection, and support for those who need it most.

This week, we recognize National Missing Children’s Day and stand with the families and communities affected by missing children.

We remember the children who are still missing and honor the ongoing efforts to bring them home.

We’re also sharing an important resource from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention that provides guidance on what to do if you ever find yourself in this situation. It includes practical steps, support, and information to help during a crisis.
