Shemilah Outreach’s apprenticeship landscaping certified program prepares youth through safety training, lawn maintenance instruction, and workforce readiness development so they can qualify for employment with local lawn care service providers. The program builds safe work habits, professional discipline, and practical skills needed for community-based landscaping jobs.

Good morning, Facebook family,

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who continues to support Shemilah Outreach. While we currently operate without outside funding and rely on personal resources, your encouragement, presence, and generosity mean everything.

A special shout-out to Pastor Rob Goodwin and the members of St. Paul Church for your continued support. I’m also deeply grateful for my twin, who, even from outside Decatur, always checks on me and stands behind the vision of Shemilah Outreach. Thank you as well to his daughter for helping feed our youth today.

I appreciate Pastor Deloyde Sanders, our Board President, for his leadership and unwavering support. To Bishop Wills, who has been like a spiritual father to me—thank you for always being there, even traveling all the way to St. Louis during a critical time for my family.

Thank you to Pastor Rod for your mentorship, guidance, and consistent support. I’m also grateful to Early Bird Kiwanis and to our private donors who choose to give quietly—your kindness does not go unnoticed.

At Shemilah Outreach, we are continuing to build and grow, committed to making a difference—one youth at a time. I don’t give up when things get hard; I push even harder. Every mistake is a lesson that makes me stronger and helps me move forward with purpose. Even when others walked away during difficult seasons, I kept going—because I know the mission is bigger than the moment.

Thank you all for believing in Shemilah Outreach.
