Human Initiative was established in Indonesia in 1999, and since then has developed into a global humanitarian organization. Its primary initiatives assist:

This is not a plan business. It is a people business. The plan is proof you did the work, not the work itself. When it hits the fan, nobody reaches for the binder. People do what they want, what feels right in the moment, and what the person next to them is doing. None of that is in your plan. All of that is your problem.

Here is what nobody tells you when you start in this field. The BIA keeps returning the same answers because you keep asking the same questions. The information nobody knew to look for until you asked the right questions is exactly what leadership needs to make the best decisions when it matters most. And none of it surfaces until someone trusts you enough to tell you the truth. Know, like, and trust. You need all three. Only trust opens the door.

Lauren Bojarski: Lauren Bojarski is a Cognitive Neurologist, Assistant Professor, and Associate Program Director for Adult Neurology at the West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute who is redefining the art of resilience through the lens of vulnerability. Despite a decorated career—including a Rising Star award, a Kentucky Colonel commission, and the national David C. Leach Award for educational advancements and operational wellbeing—Bojarski once found herself paralyzed by a panic attack in the ER, convinced she was a fraud.

This pivotal moment revealed a profound truth: professional excellence does not cure imposter phenomenon—it often fuels it. A specialist in Alzheimer’s and geriatric neurology, Bojarski now treats resilience not as a fixed trait, but as a practice of "facing it until you ace it."

Cyberattacks don't just threaten data - they disrupt critical operations. Prevention alone isn't enough. Resilience is what gets an organization back up and running.

This four-day, instructor-led online course covers the integration of business continuity, cybersecurity, and mission-critical functions, built around the six core phases of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and aligned with DRI's Professional Practices.

Topics include cyber threat trends, business impact analysis aligned with cybersecurity, cyber insurance, regulatory requirements, response and recovery planning, crisis communications for cyber incidents, and a cyberattack tabletop exercise.
