It was a four hour drive to reach Northern Cebu where the earthquake epicenter was. Our partner churches invited their community to receive the disaster relief that was prepared. We were even able to provide generators for the churches to serve as a station for people to charge their cellular phones.

Within hours after the earthquake we were mobilizing volunteers to cut tarp and rope for temporary shelter, as well as assembling food packs and hygiene kits.

One year ago we were rushing to Northern Cebu after a devastating earthquake. Because of our generous partners we were able to get life-saving aid to those that needed it most -- literally within hours of the initial quake.
