Congrats to Senior Wrestler Nathan Dail on signing his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Penn Highlands!
The Black Bears are newly members of the NJCAA Region 20 and compete at the Division 3 level. Nathan has shown tremendous growth over his varsity career and we are excited to watch Nathan continue to reach new levels.
Dail was the 2025 Most Improved Wrestler and the winner of the 2026 Coaches Excellence Award, exemplifying growth and leadership over his varsity career. This season he finished with a record of 26-14 with an impressive 15 pins! He placed 4th at the ICC/Heritage Conference Tournament and 4th at the District 5 Championship. Dail was a huge staple in the lineup this year going 12-4 in dual meets, scoring 68 points for the team. He was selected as a National Wrestling Coaches Associations Scholar All American as well as Pennsylvania Scholar All State mention. He also made the Somerset County All-Star Team as an Honorable Mention.
