Discover the adventure of geocaching with Lorain/Stonycreek Hiking Trails! Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt that combines hiking, exploration, and problem-solving as participants use GPS coordinates to locate hidden caches throughout the trails. Whether you’re an experienced geocacher or trying it for the first time, it’s a fun way to explore the outdoors, discover new places, and enjoy the natural beauty of our local area.

Bring your sense of adventure, get out on the trails, and see what treasures you can find! Lorain/Stonycreek Hiking Trails is proud to encourage outdoor recreation, community involvement, and new ways for people of all ages to connect with nature.

All of our caches have a codeword. If you find all of our Geocaches you can turn in your codes found to claim this custom Geocoin!

Blowing the trails is an on going process for us during the fall and spring months to make sure the trails are well defined and safe for hiking. With leaves on the trails you pose a risk of trip hazard not knowing what is underneath. You would be surprised what I find under there when I blow them.

We still have these we are selling for the Lorain/Stonycreek Hiking Trails. Please help out with a small donation and get a chance to win a book of scratch off tickets.

Your support is appreciated!
