🌞 FREE SUMMER PROGRAM for Children Ages 6–10! 🌞
The Bridge: A Center for Hope and Healing, a 501(c)(3) counseling center located on our Elm Street campus, is excited to offer "Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies" —a FREE summer program designed to help children build emotional wellness, healthy habits, and resilience through engaging activities and fun!
📍 Two locations:
One week on our Dartmouth campus
One week at Grace Episcopal Church in New Bedford
👧👦 Ages: 6–10

🐾PetScreening offers grants to help individuals with Down syndrome experience the companionship of a shelter or rescue pet.
They offer grants of up to $1,000 to cover the first year of pet ownership costs, including adoption fees, veterinary expenses, and food. Please note that this is not a financial need-based grant; anyone with Down syndrome is eligible to apply.

On Tuesday, June 23rd, Pine Meadow Farms will be coming to the library for a Petting Zoo to kick off our 2026 Kids' Summer Reading Program! This event starts at 10:30 am, so make sure you get here with plenty of time to park, check in, and get settled!

Registration is highly recommended. Not only will this give us an idea of how many folks are coming, but this also allows your friendly neighborhood children's librarian to contact participants directly!
