🤠👢HOEDOWN UPDATE👢🤠

I hope you guys are getting excited, because we are!! We are super excited to be bringing in Billy, Danny, and Mikey as our band for the Hoedown on October 2nd at Smokey Glen Farm. I'm sure many of you know Billy Herrington, he's been a Darnestown resident for 30+ years! The Hoedown is going to be an absolute blast, stay tuned for more details as we get closer but they include a fantastic dinner, the return of square dancing, and more.

Don't forget to buy your tickets at www.darnestowncivic.org before ticket sales end on SEPTEMBER 25TH. $55 for DCA members, $65 for non-members (what a great opportunity to renew or start your membership with the DCA 😉). Scroll to the bottom of the page to find ticket sales!

IT'S BACK!!!!!

Join us for a night of fun!! The night will kick off with a superb dinner served by Smokey Glen Farm, followed by square dancing and live music. We have a new square dance caller this year who has been involved in the square dance community his whole life. Live music will be provided by none other than Darnestown resident Billy Herrington! There will be an open bar available for the duration of the event as well as a tractor hayride in the later portion of the evening. Should be an absolute blast, you don't want to miss it.

Tickets are $55 for DCA members and $65 for non-members; this is a great time to become a member or renew if your membership has lapsed. Tickets can be purchased at https://darnestowncivic.org/ just scroll down to the bottom of the front page and you'll find the ticket sales 🙂 Ticket sales end a week before the event on September 25th, so don't wait! No physical tickets will be issued, you'll give us your name at the door.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

One of our favorite Darnestown traditions is seeing the American flags proudly lining Route 28 each Fourth of July. It's a beautiful reminder of the pride we share in our country—and in our community.

Swing by Heritage Park on April 18th between 10AM and 1PM to pick up garbage bags, reflective vests, and gloves before you head out to clean up our community! Filled garbage bags can be dropped back off at the park for disposal. Students can earn SSL hours for their participation!
