Thank you Mayor Barbara Smyth for recognizing the sentiments of Hindus in the city of Norwalk in the very auspicious and culturally important and significant month for the community.

Last year the community participated in huge numbers along with Norwalk, CT Police Department for SewaDiwali.

This month, I am proud to recognize Hindu Heritage Month and celebrate the rich history, culture, traditions, and contributions of the Hindu community.

Here in Norwalk, our diversity is one of our greatest strengths. The Hindu community is an important part of the fabric of our city, contributing to our schools, businesses, neighborhoods, cultural life, and community.

Hindu Heritage Month is an opportunity to learn, celebrate, and appreciate the many traditions and experiences that make our city stronger.

To all those celebrating, Happy Hindu Heritage Month!

Every year, the Wilton Hindu Community and volunteers of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA, celebrate Universal Oneness Day with the first and second responders who serve and protect Wilton.

Thank you to the Hindu Community of Wilton for honoring Wilton’s first responders with the annual Raksha Bandhan ceremony and blessings of protection as part of Universal Oneness Day.

🙏🌸 Universal Oneness Day – A Celebration of Unity, Gratitude & Community! 🌸🙏

Every year, the Wilton Hindu Community, volunteers of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA, and our friends across the community eagerly look forward to celebrating Universal Oneness Day with the incredible first and second responders who serve and protect Wilton. ❤️

This year’s celebration was once again filled with warmth, gratitude, friendship, and the spirit of oneness. It was wonderful to see members of our Hindu community come together with our police officers, firefighters, and other first and second responders to express our heartfelt appreciation for all they do for our community.

We were honored to have Second Selectman Ross Tartell, WiACT (Wilton Interfaith Action) Chairman Steve Hudspeth, and Jack McFadden from the Wilton Kiwanis Club join us for the celebration.

What makes this event truly special is the growing bond between our community and those who serve it. Year after year, Universal Oneness Day has become an event that everyone looks forward to—an opportunity to come together, build friendships, celebrate our shared humanity, and say a heartfelt THANK YOU to those who are always there for us. 🙏❤️

🌎 Different backgrounds. Different traditions. One community. One humanity.

A true of Universal Oneness Day!

🕊️ 25 Years. Never Forget.

We remember the innocent lives lost, the families changed forever, and the heroes who stood in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

As Hindus, we believe Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family. May we stand united against hatred, violence, and extremism, and choose compassion, peace, and humanity.

Remember. Honor. Unite. 🕊️🇺🇸
Never Forget.

On Veer Bal Diwas, I bow to Guru Gobind Singh Ji's four Sahibzade and Mata Gujri Ji. With supreme courage they stood against the brutal Mughal rule and chose martyrdom, refusing to convert. Their unmatched valor will continue to inspire
generations to come.
