Mercy Street Dallas Sports. Mentoring. Leadership. www.mercystreetdallas.org We strive every day to empower the next generation of Christian leaders to transform their communities.

Believing youth are the greatest asset for the future of their community and transformation best occurs in the context of relationship, we value people over programs to see lasting change realized. Everything we do exists to cultivate mutually transforming relationships with inner-city youth through Christian Mentorship

We believe true and lasting change will be brought about by the residents, particularly the children, of this community. Mercy Street's hope is to raise a new generation of leaders from the community to be the change agents of tomorrow. Sometimes an infusion of hope and help from the outside is all that is needed to make a monumental difference. That is where our mentors, coaches, and volunteers come in. They are tasked with being an encourager, friend, and advisor to the children over the course of many years. Mercy Street also seeks to be "incarnational" in our ministry efforts, meaning we relocate to the place where we minister in order to put flesh on the redemptive message of the gospel. Whether a physical relocation (like most of our staff) or a mental relocation (like most of our mentors), we invite everyone to take on the cares and concerns of the community as their own. We believe this is part of “loving our neighbors as ourselves.”

At Mercy Street, we prayerfully work together to push back against the thorns and thistles that have taken root in West Dallas so that God's Kingdom reign might be evident. Urban decay points to spiritual decay. As Christians it is our delightful responsibility to enter into the dark places of the world and let the light of Christ shine. Light always repels darkness. Join the movement and shine the light of Christ in our community.

What an incredible day celebrating 23 years of God’s faithfulness and the impact of Mercy Street!

Thank you to everyone who joined us today at the Lakewest Multipurpose Center for our 23rd Annual Luncheon. We are deeply grateful for your presence, support and commitment to the children, families, and communities we serve.

A special thank you to our presenting sponsors, Sewell Automotive Group, Stonelake Capital Partners, and Omni Hotels & Resorts, for their generous support and partnership.

We were also honored to recognize Ray and Denise Nixon and Coach Wayne Bradford for their extraordinary commitment to serving others and making a lasting difference in our community.

To every donor, partner, volunteer, vendor, and friend of Mercy Street, thank you for being part of our story and the work God continues to do through this ministry.

Today was a beautiful reminder of how God continues to move through people like you. Your generosity, faithfulness, and willingness to serve make moments like today possible and help us continue impacting lives across West Dallas and beyond.

From all of us at Mercy Street, thank you for making today so special!

📣 It’s almost time! Our 23rd Annual Luncheon is just around the corner. This is always one of our favorite days of the year to share meaningful stories, reconnect with great people, and hear the vision for what’s still ahead. Come celebrate with us. We’d love to have you in the room.

📣 Can’t Attend? Buy Raffle Tickets! You can still be part of the celebration! Support Mercy Street through a donation or by purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to see the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants on Sunday, January 3, 2027 at AT&T Stadium.

Tickets are $25 each or five for $100. You don’t have to be present to win — the drawing will take place live at the luncheon, and the winner will be notified by email.

📆 We’re counting down to Mercy Street’s 23rd Annual Luncheon! On October 13th, we’ll gather with friends, partners, volunteers and supporters to celebrate another incredible year of God’s faithfulness and the impact being made in the lives of young people and families across West and South Dallas.

This year, we are honored to recognize Ray and Denise Nixon with the Bill Farrell Catalyst Award and Coach Wayne Bradford with the Trey Hill Community Hero Award. Their commitment to young people and our community reflects the heart of Mercy Street’s mission.

We look forward to celebrating them, sharing stories from this past year and giving thanks for every person who has helped us walk alongside young people as they discover their God-given potential.

Only a handful of tickets remain, so RSVP today to join us and see what God is doing through Mercy Street.

🥹 This morning, our team woke up to discover the incredible blessing of YOUR gifts to Mercy Street yesterday. Over $431,000 was donated this year during North Texas Giving Day, surpassing our $350,000 goal and setting our new fundraising record for this annual campaign.

We cannot begin to thank God and you enough for your continual support across our Sports, Mentoring, Leadership, After School and Summer Camp programs for the children of West and South Dallas. By His grace, we pledge to continue serving and encouraging those children in record numbers and showing them His love.

THANK YOU. 🫶🏽
