Dear MAPB friends and supporters,

When families lose loved ones to police violence, they are often asked to turn grief into public leadership before they have the support, training, or community to do so.

MAPB’s Legacy Fellowship Program changes that.

We have built a national pipeline of survivor leaders who transform lived experience into civil rights protection, community safety leadership, family support, and accountable public policy from the United States to the United Nations.

Today, our MAPB Fellows from California, Georgia, Ohio, and Texas are building organizing skills, strengthening advocacy, and working together to change criminal justice policy at the national level. Now, we are preparing to expand this flagship leadership-development program to at least ten additional locations.

But we can’t do it without your support. Your donation will help launch the next cohort of Legacy Fellows and invest directly in survivor leaders turning grief into leadership for justice and public safety reform.
