Thank you to the C7 Human Trafficking Coalition for supporting Traffick911’s work to address s*x trafficking in North Texas, including our efforts surrounding FIFA.

C7 brings together first responders, government agencies, nonprofits, ministries, elected officials and community members to strengthen the network of care for those impacted by trafficking.

**MYTH: Human trafficking only happens to girls.**

The reality? **Trafficking is not gender specific.**

Boys and young men can experience trafficking, too, and misconceptions about who a victim “looks like” can make it harder to recognize when a young person needs help.

Every child deserves to be seen, believed, and supported, regardless of gender.

At Traffick911, our Advocates meet each young person where they are and provide consistent, trauma-informed support as they move toward safety and healing.

At Traffick911, we know no single organization can do this work alone. That’s why partnerships like the one we share with the Children's Advocacy Center are so important.

Together, we are part of a larger North Texas network committed to ensuring children impacted by abuse and exploitation are surrounded by professionals who communicate, collaborate, and keep their safety and well-being at the center. Each organization brings a different expertise to the table.

What unites us is bigger: the determination to protect kids, support healing, and create a community where every child has the opportunity to thrive. We’re grateful for the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and for the many organizations across DFW that continue to choose collaboration over silos.

Back to school means new routines, new friendships and more time online. 🎒📱

As we prepare our kids for the classroom, let's make sure we're preparing them for the digital spaces they navigate every day, too. Online exploitation can begin with something that feels completely ordinary: a new follower, a gaming friend, a compliment or someone who simply seems to understand. That's why one of the most powerful tools we have is connection.

This school year, talk with the young people in your life about online friendships, privacy, location sharing and s*xtortion. Most importantly, make sure they know that if something ever feels wrong, they can come to you without fear of judgment or punishment. You don't have to know every app or understand every online trend to help keep a young person safer. Be curious. Stay connected. Be the trusted adult. 💚

This is what Kids Deserve Summer looks like. 💚☀️

A day at The Cove in Little Elm.

Water, laughter, new experiences, and the chance to simply enjoy being a kid.

Our Advocates recently spent the day with youth we serve at The Cove at Lakefront, creating the kind of ordinary summer memories every young person deserves. But these outings are about more than having fun. Every shared experience gives our Advocates another opportunity to build trust, strengthen relationships, and remind a young person that they are worthy of joy, safety, and people who consistently show up for them.

You won't see the faces of the youth we serve in these photos. Protecting their privacy and dignity will always come first. But their joy was very much present. 💚 This is your generosity in action.

Thank you for helping us give kids the opportunity to experience summer as it should be. Kids deserve safety. Kids deserve joy. Kids Deserve Summer.

When traffickers are held accountable, the work isn't over—it's where healing begins. A significant step forward in the fight against human trafficking happened right here in North Texas. We are grateful to our partners with the Homeland Security Investigations North Texas Trafficking Task Force and the many federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies whose collaboration led to the recent arrests connected to an alleged s*x trafficking and money laundering conspiracy in Dallas.

We also honor the survivors whose courage helped move this case forward. Your voices matter, and your strength inspires hope.

While arrests hold traffickers accountable, healing doesn't end when an investigation does. Survivors need trusted people who will continue to walk beside them long after the headlines fade.

At Traffick911, that's our commitment. Our Advocates provide trauma-informed support to youth and families as they navigate safety, rebuild trust, and move toward healing.

This case reminds us that protecting children takes an entire community. Together, we can create a North Texas where children are protected, survivors are supported, and traffickers are held accountable.
