Hi, I'm Valka, and I'm ready for my happily ever after.

My story started when I was abandoned in a box with my three week old babies. I did my job as a mama and raised my kittens, but now I'm hoping someone will give me a chance to be loved, too.

I recently went to an adoption event, but I was so scared that I didn't make the best first impression. Sadly, my rescue was planning to put me back on the streets where I was originally dumped. Thankfully, Big Love Rescue is trying to help me find a real home instead.

I'm a sweet 1 year old, gentle girl with a playful and slightly mischievous personality! I might need a little time to warm up, but once I'm comfortable, my personality really shines. I love to play, and even when I get a little feisty, I keep my claws tucked away.

I'm litter box trained, but I do have a confession... I sometimes knock things off counters and think plants make tasty snacks! 🌿 Oops! A little cat proofing might be necessary.

I'm also not a fan of dogs, so I'd really prefer a home without them.

I've already raised my babies, survived being abandoned, and had my whole world turned upside down. Now I'm just looking for someone patient enough to let me feel safe and loved. I promise I'm worth getting to know!

Brick is safe because one of our reliable fosters stepped up for him. He was basically loose with nowhere for us to put him. She has bailed our rescue out of some really tough situations by stepping up when we didn’t know how to fix the situation.
People like this are the real rescuers.
Thank you Shannon for bailing us out of a rough situation once again.
You are truly one in a million.
Brick will see the vet in the morning to update vax and receive any medical treatment he may need from his journey of abandonment.

I need an emergency foster for this handsome boy. His name is 🧱 Brick
They said he's good with dogs and humans . Brick was dumped by his previous adopters and left on his own. He was found and now he needs somewhere to go. We already have 2 dogs in boarding and this is our tipping point.

Meet Lucky Buck, the 53lb bundle of joy who's ready to steal your heart and maybe even your spot on the couch! This 1-year-old Carolina Dog mix is the epitome of affection, athleticism, and playfulness. Lucky Buck's friendly nature makes him a social butterfly, and he's always up for a good game or a vigorous play session. His athletic build means he's always ready for an adventure, whether it's a long hike, a sprint around the park, or just a zoomies session in the backyard. Lucky Buck is up to date on his vaccines and is neutered. He is kid and dog friendly, getting along with his foster fur friends.

Lucky Buck is a courtesy post, meaning BLR is giving him a helping paw with exposure and the adoption process. The finder is taking care of his medical needs and collecting the adoption fee. Applications are at Bigloverescue.org.

Phoebe & Molly are our last two kittens looking for homes, and we would LOVE to see them adopted together!

Molly is the more outgoing of the two, while sweet Phoebe is a little shy and feels more confident with a kitty friend by her side. Having Molly with her would make the transition into a new home so much easier. ❤️

Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and ready for their forever home! And because kittens are always more fun in pairs, we offer a discount when adopting two! 😻😻
