We are beyond elated to share that Anakin is officially ADOPTED 🎉♥️🙌

Anakin has been with us since March 2025 and after a long search, he is finally home. His new family drove out all the way from Utah with his new sibling and after a great meet and greet, he is now en route to a new life!

So grateful for everyone who helped Anakin during his search. He is the best dog, we can’t wait to see him thrive 🥹

Coco is a dream dog 😍

We’ve gotten to know him a little more while he’s looking for a foster and staying at our clinic, and he is a perfect dog.

This 4 year old boy is so delightful and easygoing, not a barker at all. He is:
✅ Housebroken / Potty trained
✅ Neutered and up to date on vaccines
✅ Good with dogs
✅ Good with cats
✅ Good with all people and kids
✅ Crate trained
🌭 Looks fabulous in his Halloween costume

🏥 He does need to have surgery soon, but will be ready to go to his forever home afterwards!

New puppy alert!
Meet Kiba, a precious 2 month old female husky mix. This baby girl urgently needs a foster or adopter!

She is just a puppy and is a high energy breed, so will need someone who understands that she will need routine, structure, and guidance to learn how to be an outstanding canine citizen 🩵 she is guaranteed to be a good girl who will love you hard in return!

Urgent foster needed for Coco!

Coco is a 4 year old neutered male pug who was surrendered by his owner to us today. We are urgently seeking a foster home for him so that he can decompress and adjust to this life change with as little added stress as possible 🥺

He is super sweet, quiet, and housebroken! He is very affectionate and likes going for walks and walks well on the leash (see last video)! We have not seen him with cats or kids yet, so are unsure how he does with them. But he is really a chill dog, and has been great and friendly with all people he’s met so far.

As the newest member of the AWF family, he will likely need some vet visits to our clinic to ensure he’s in good health as we look for a new home for him.

German Shepherd mix
6 year old, fixed male
Prefers to be the only pet in an adult only household
Dog selective, does well with structured intros and interactions and can have dog friends (like Cooper)

Cooper
Australian Cattle Dog mix
5 years old, fixed male
Prefers to be only dog in the household
LOVES kids
Also does well with dog friends in structured settings, but prefers to be your one and only

Both are working breed dogs, so need stimulation and exercise. That can be sports like agility or obedience training, or fun activities like hiking or running.

Meet Carli!

Carli is a ~1.5 year old tabby female who came to us from a cat cafe. She is the absolute sweetest girl, never hisses or anything, but is a little shy. Once you pet her and show her some affection though, she melts into you and shows how much she can be someone’s perfect best friend.

✅ Spayed
✅ Up to date on vaccinations
✅ No health concerns
✅ Can live with other cats, with proper introductions

We would love to find her a foster or adoptive home as soon as possible! She is staying at our clinic in Marina Del Rey right now, and while we love getting to see her every day and give her chin scratches, she really deserves a nice quiet home with a window to sunbathe in.

She is staying in a room with other cats and has shown that she does well with them, although she isn’t particularly interested in playing or engaging with them. Just quiet companionship.
