Bringing it to Bridge: Community Humanities Education The work of Bridge is needed now more than ever.

Will you join us with your support? - http://tinyurl.com/supportbridgeaula

Since 1999, the Bridge Program at Antioch University Los Angeles (AULA) has been doing something simply revolutionary: providing college classes to adults in Los Angeles who might not otherwise access higher education, at no cost to students. The Bridge Program was founded by AULA alumna Shari Foos with the assistance of B.A. Program faculty member David Tripp, who served as the founding director of the program. Bridge is funded by the generous support of individuals, foundations, and volunteers, as well as Antioch University Los Angeles. Bridge has classes at four sites: Culver City, Boyle Heights, Long Beach, and in partnership with YouthBuild (YCSC) in Norwalk.

Changing the Course of a Life

When the Bridge Program changed the course of Janine Betts’ life, it reminded us that access to mentorship and opportunity makes a lasting difference.

Bridge continues to support students in discovering direction, confidence, and purpose by empowering them to build meaningful futures.
