If you are a PCC/PUP graduate from high school and college/university, you are eligible to apply for membership from PUPAA USA. You are also eligible to apply for membership if you are an associate who attended PCC/PUP for a few years, did not graduate or moved to another school. Dedication, commitment and a willingness to support and participate in all PUPAA programs and activities.

The PUPAA-USA Board of Directors and Officers held a Zoom meeting on August 1, 2026, to discuss updates on the upcoming Gala, including the program, tickets, souvenir advertisements, solicitation letters, guest speakers, honorees, decorations, and other related matters. The meeting also included a discussion on the status of the website development.

A follow-up Zoom meeting was held on August 8, 2026, to discuss updates and follow up on the items addressed during the August 1, 2026, meeting. The Board also discussed other matters to ensure the timely completion of the Gala preparations and website development.

As previously reported, the PUPAA-USA Board of Directors and Officers met again via Zoom on July 25, 2026, to review the status of the Association's ongoing projects and activities. Topics included the website upgrade, preparations for the upcoming Gala Event, ticket sales, guests, honorees, and the souvenir program, which will showcase the Association's major projects and initiatives, including the PUP Tahanan ng Atleta, Education on Wheels, Scholarship Program, Feeding Program, and other community outreach efforts.

The Board also reviewed the Association's banking matters and discussed other important concerns to ensure the successful implementation of its programs and the continued fulfillment of its mission to support PUP and serve the community.

The PUPAA-USA Board of Directors and Officers held a Zoom meeting on July 19, 2026, to discuss updates on the organization's website development and preparations for the Gala on September 19, 2026, including the souvenir program, guest speaker/inducting officer, attendance, and ticket sales. The Board also discussed the Scholarship Program, banking matters, and other relevant issues affecting the organization.

The Board remains committed to delivering its programs and events while continuing to advance its mission of supporting PUP scholars and strengthening alumni engagement.

The PUPAA-USA Board of Directors and Officers met via Zoom on July 11, 2026, to discuss important updates and preparations for the upcoming Gala Event.

The Board reviewed the revised program, ticket sales, souvenir program giveaways for the honorees, website development, and other relevant matters.

The meeting focused on final preparations to ensure the success of the Gala and to provide a memorable experience for our distinguished honorees and guests. The Board reaffirmed its commitment to working collaboratively to make this milestone event a meaningful celebration of service, excellence, and alumni fellowship.

The next Board meeting is scheduled for July 19, 2026, to review additional updates and finalize the remaining preparations for the Gala Event.

The PUPAA-USA Board of Directors and Officers met via Zoom on July 4, 2026, to discuss several important matters concerning the Association. The meeting opened with a prayer, followed by the President's recap of the June 6, 2026 meeting.

The Board then discussed the proposed Gala program, including updates on the guest speaker, the invitation to the induction officer, ticket sales, souvenir book advertisements, invitations to prospective attendees, and other event-related preparations.

The Board also reviewed the status of the proposed website development contract, Facebook and newspaper advertisements, financial matters, secretarial functions, and other key issues affecting the Association.

The meeting concluded with a closing prayer. The next Zoom meeting is scheduled for July 11, 2026, to continue planning and monitor the progress of the Association's ongoing initiatives.

PUPAA USA SCHOLAR THANK YOU LETTER - SERIES NO. 8

Dear PUPAA-USA Scholarship Committee,

I am sincerely grateful for the scholarship support that has been offered to me. Although the scholarship support is yet to be received, it already represents far more than financial assistance to me. It stands as a source of encouragement, hope, and motivation as I continue through one of the most challenging yet meaningful seasons of my life. Knowing that my potential has been recognized gives me the courage to keep moving forward, even on days when continuing feels difficult.

My academic journey has never been easy. There were moments when exhaustion weighed heavily on me, when self-doubt crept in, and when personal struggles made it hard to stay focused. There were nights filled with pressure and uncertainty, where I questioned whether I was strong enough to finish what I had started. During those times, giving up felt close, but I held on because I knew my journey was bigger than my fears.

What helped me survive those moments were the people I met along the way. I was blessed with friends who stayed beside me when I felt overwhelmed, who listened when I needed to be heard, and who reminded me of my purpose when I felt lost. Their presence taught me that success is not always about walking alone. Sometimes, it is about being supported by people who genuinely care and choose kindness even when life is heavy.

I am also deeply thankful for my blockmates, who became more than classmates to me. Instead of seeing one another as competitors, we chose to care, encourage, and support each other. We shared notes, comforted one another during stressful weeks, and celebrated every small victory together. That environment of unity and understanding made the academic journey lighter and more meaningful, and it strengthened my belief in collaboration, empathy, and shared growth.

Today, I am proud to share that I am now in my final semester. In just a few months, I will finally be graduating—a milestone that once felt so far away. I am hopeful to become a President’s Lister and possibly qualify for Magna Cum Laude, achievements that once felt impossible but now feel within reach because of the support, encouragement, and opportunities made possible through this scholarship.

Thank you for believing in me, especially during moments when the journey felt uncertain. Your generosity continues to help me move forward, not only academically but personally as well. The financial assistance will be used to support my daily allowance as I complete my studies, which is a great help to my family since I am raised by a single mother who has been doing everything she can to support us. Your support eases her burden and allows me to focus on finishing my education with determination and gratitude.

I carry with me the hope that someday I will be in a position to give back. As I move forward, I aspire to reach a point in my life where I can support others, whether by helping with daily needs or by assisting someone in continuing their education. In the same way that this opportunity has strengthened my determination and eased my journey, I hope to become a source of encouragement and assistance for individuals pursuing their dreams despite financial challenges. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Alumni Association – USA (PUPAA-USA) for selecting me as one of your scholars for Academic Year 2025–2026.

Thank you for your generosity, trust, and belief in PUP students like me. Your support has been a great help, not only in easing my financial needs, but also in giving me encouragement and peace of mind to focus on my studies. Knowing that PUP alumni continue to support and uplift students inspires me to keep striving and doing my best.

During the first semester of AY 2025–2026, your scholarship motivated me to stay focused and determined in my academic and personal goals. I am grateful to share that I was included in the President’s List for the semester. I also passed the Civil Service Examination – Professional Level on my first take and completed my first 300 hours of practicum at the Philippine National Bank.
