One of the things that makes Cottage Grove so special is the foundation that has already been built by so many community volunteers.

Our existing murals, the people and artists behind them have helped shape us and the pride of this community.

As we look ahead to welcoming the WallDogs, I see that as not something separate— but something that builds on that legacy. This is a continuation of the story, made possible by those who came before, and those stepping forward now.

There are many moving pieces in a project of this scale, and while we won’t always get every acknowledgement perfectly right in every moment, please know that the intention is to always honor the collective effort that makes projects like this possible.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to Cottage Grove’s story — and excited for what we are creating together next.
