Good afternoon. It is my honor to present the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce Future First Citizen Scholarship to Kevin Capener.

Kevin is a student who has already shown a strong commitment to leadership, service, and his community. Throughout high school, he has served as a student body representative, attended school board meetings, helped organize events, supported school activities, and worked to make sure student voices were heard.

Kevin has also given back through volunteering, including church fundraisers, environmental restoration projects, the Kennedy Conservation Corps, and helping younger students learn to bowl at Cottage Bowl.

Kevin is graduating a year early and plans to continue his education at Lane Community College and the University of Oregon, studying automotive technology and humanities. His future goals show both practical ambition and a heart for understanding how he can make a positive impact on the people and community around him.

Kevin, your leadership, work ethic, and willingness to serve others are exactly what this scholarship represents. Congratulations on being selected as this year’s Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce Future First Citizen Scholarship recipient.

📣 Good morning, Cottage Grove! 📣

Urban Kitchen is OPEN today from 12 pm to 6 pm and we're excited to be back serving you!

The last couple of Saturdays were a little rough as we worked through some staffing challenges, but we've got things sorted out and are back on track. Moving forward, you can count on us being open Saturdays again!

Stop by for your favorite bowls, taddies, wraps, salads, and smoked meats. We appreciate everyone's patience and support while we got everything squared away.

We're happy to be back and can't wait to see you today! ❤️

What started as a dream built with hard work, family, muddy boots, long days, and a whole lot of heart has grown into something so incredibly special. Every guest who has stayed with us, shared a kind review, snuggled the animals, watched sunsets from the farm, or simply chose our little corner of Oregon for their getaway has helped make this possible.

This award is not just ours… it belongs to every person who has supported Sweet Springs Family Farm along the way. Our Thursday night Bowling & Golf League starts Thursday, May 28th at 6:30 PM! Bowling at and Golf at Middlefield Golf Course.

It’s the perfect mix of strikes and swings. Whether you’re better on the lanes, better on the greens, or just here for the good time, this league is for you.
