Information for the live steamer: Goathill Junction is a 7 1/2in gauge railroad built to IBLS standards. We love hosting visiting live steamers and we hold two yearly meets where guests from other railroads can bring their own equipment to run on our railroad. We have an air operated hoist from loading/unloading, steaming bays with air and water connections, and a fun route through the nature park. For more information, or would like to arrange a visit with your equipment on a non-meet weekend, please send an email to [email protected].

OCME is committed to rail safety around both our miniature trains and the full size trains that operate in Orange County. Full size trains from Union Pacific Railroad, BNSF Railway, Amtrak, Metrolink and soon OC Streetcar operate in OC. With that in mind it is always important to think See Tracks, Think Train!

We have created a Rail Safety page on our website that has some helpful tips from Operation Lifesaver Inc.. This webpage tells you what signs to look for when at a railroad crossing, and it also tells you about the Quiet Zones in Orange County. You can view these tips at the link below, and we encourage you to take the Rail Safety Pledge which you can find linked on our Rail Safety page.
