American Legion Post 11 Corvallis Or The American Legion has scholarships to help out our youth. We would like to help them out with these scholarships.

Boy/Girls state and Law enforcement for the junior year of high-school. We also have one for the oratorical for all 4 years.

This is what American Legion Post 11 in Corvallis Oregon did today. Along with honoring our veterans that didn’t make it home the ones that gave it all. We honored our veterans and Corvallis caring place Corvallis Oregon. A big thank to the staff at Corvallis caring place to give us this opportunity to share with this veterans and to retire their old flag and raise the new one. 🇺🇸 National Poppy Day – Honoring Sacrifice, Supporting Veterans 🇺🇸

Join us as we recognize National Poppy Day on May 23rd and May 24th and help us continue a long-standing American tradition of honoring and supporting our veterans.

The red poppy became a symbol of remembrance following World War I, inspired by the poem "In Flanders Fields." For generations, the poppy has served as a way to honor the sacrifices of those who served our country and to remember those who never returned home.

Today, the American Legion Family continues that tradition by distributing poppies and accepting donations that help support disabled veterans and hospitalized veterans. Your generosity helps provide assistance, comfort, and support to those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.
