Update: He has been RESCUED

This handsome Australian Shepherd mix recently arrived at our shelter after being picked up by the City of Weslaco near Stripes on Airport Drive.

He came in wearing a brand-new collar but had no ID tags or microchip. This sweet toffee-colored boy was just looking for a taco when animal control stepped in — because we know someone out there is missing him. ❤️

He’s shy, gentle, and clearly used to being loved. We would love nothing more than to reunite him with the family he belongs with.

If he is not reclaimed by May 24, 2026, he will become available for adoption or rescue placement.

#244 is a petite German Shepard who is nervous and shy when you first meet her, but give her time (and treats!) and watch her open up! She is a sweet dog who walks well on a leash and just needs someone who will be patient with her and look past her nervousness.

She is available at Guadalupe County Animal Services and Adoption Center in Seguin Texas
