From our Chief Executive Officer Brianna Davis:
Today was one of those days that reminds me why Esperanza de Tejas exists.
We served 96 meals, distributed 50 hygiene bags, and provided 50 packs of diapers to families in our community. We also had the honor of welcoming Thomas Ray Garcia, who joined us to read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie during story time. Eleven amazing kiddos came out to listen, learn, and enjoy a fun afternoon together.
The work happening at the Esperanza Resource Center is incredible. In less than one month, more than 300 individuals and families have walked through our doors looking for support, connection, and hope.
But the truth is, the need is growing faster than our resources. Today, even after serving 96 meals, not everyone got to eat.
That is why I am asking for your help.
If you have ever considered making a donation, hosting a diaper drive, collecting hygiene items, organizing a food drive, or becoming a sponsor, now is the time. Every contribution helps us ensure that a parent leaves with diapers, a child has a meal, and a family can access the support they need.
At Esperanza de Tejas, we believe everyone deserves dignity, hope, and a community that cares. Together, we can make sure no one is turned away because we ran out.
