Mission Statement of BFF:
To provide nourishing food for weekend meals to elementary school students in the Cornwall Central School District who receive Federal free lunch at their school during the school year. The service to qualified students will hopefully enable them to be better nourished when they are away from school on the weekend. It is anticipated that this will help them be better prep
ared to focus on their educational activities because they are not worried about their basic food needs. Funding for this program will be through fundraising events, donations, sponsorship, and grants. This is a community project that will be staffed totally by volunteers and confidentially managed. The goal is to provide nourishing food on weekends to qualified elementary school students in the Cornwall Central School District.
