Good evening CQM families! Just a reminder that signups are now open for Spring Baseball. I know that all the snow makes it hard to believe, but practices are just about 6 weeks away!!!!

Please spread the word to others who might not be on facebook.

Remember, we are joining forces with Northern Lebanon Little League to officially bring Little League baseball to CQM and we are super excited! Tball kids will learn to hit pitching, our 7/8 year olds will learn to pitch themselves, or 9/10 year olds will love playing Minor baseball, our 11/12 year olds will be playing some very exciting Major baseball, and new this year is our Intermediates for ages 12 and 13 that want to play on a slightly larger diamond with leads and pickoffs!

Hello Parents of CQM,
I hope that this email finds your family safe and healthy in this early part of 2021 as we look out over the spring and the upcoming baseball season. CQM Baseball is back for 2021 and we anticipate having a full season this year. Not all of the details on the mechanics have been worked out but we are hard at work putting it all together. There have been a few changes since we last played and I want to bring you up to speed on where we are at, but first a little history.

CQM has been running youth baseball for about 60 years in this community and has gone through a couple different iterations. For the largest part of our history there were so many kids coming out to play that we only played against the kids right in our own local boundaries. About 15 years ago CQM joined up with Lebanon County Pony Baseball and played in that league with other towns around the area. And while nothing is perfect, we have enjoyed our time playing with LCPB and feel they gave our kids a good experience to get out, have fun, and learn the game of baseball. But as time marches on, the landscape of the game changes and new opportunities continue to arise and this season we are taking the next step in the evolution of our program. After a lot of consideration from a lot of different angles, CQM has decided to join Little League Baseball for the 2021 season. While the original vision of how this would play out has not come full circle yet, we are certain that what we have in place for this first year with Little League will be a stepping stone to a great new era of CQM Baseball.

For 2021 we have partnered with Northern Lebanon Little League and we will run the South division. When you sign your children up to play you will see an option for “North” or “South”. Please select South so your children will continue to play with their same group of friends right here in CQM. All registrations will be online this year. Parents, if you would like to volunteer to coach or help in some other way, there is a checkbox on the sign up form. We are really excited to be joining a world class organization in Little League! The programs and tools they have for our coaches and families are second to none. Their focus on teamwork and sportsmanship on and off the field is a cornerstone to helping shape our children into community leaders along with fostering a love of baseball from a young age. Due to this switch we are also able to lower our registration fees this year which we are super excited about. Below I have listed out a table that will allow you to become familiar with the different levels so that you can choose the one that is right for your child at sign ups.

T-Ball - $40 - equivalent ages to our Quickball program, Ages 4-6
Rookie - $50 - equivalent to our 8u program, Ages 7-8
Minor - $50 - equivalent to our 10u program, Ages 9 -11
Major - $50 - equivalent to our 12u program, Ages 10 - 12
Intermediate - $75 - equivalent to our Midget program, Ages 12-13 *this is a 50/70 level

If you are registering 3 or more children it is a flat rate of $100!
Money from your registrations and any fundraising we do stays within CQM to buy uniforms, pay umpires, buy equipment, maintain the fields, and play a few night games. We look forward to getting back out on the field this year and putting together a great baseball season for our kids.

Good evening CQM Baseball family. This year has seen challenges that none of us have ever seen before. It was the most disheartening situation this spring when we were unable to have a 2020 regular baseball season. We sorely missed seeing all the kids' smiling faces and loud cheers out on the diamond. As we head through the fall and into the winter we have some very exciting changes happening with CQM Baseball as we prepare for the 2021 season. The first thing we would like to announce is that Bryce Martin has recently taken over as President of CQM Baseball. One of the major initiatives that we have under way is expanding our board of directors and increasing our outreach to all of the amazing supporters of our organization. The second big announcement will be coming within the next couple of weeks, we just have to cross a few "T"s and dot a few "I"s.
