Looking for a goofy, loving adventure buddy who’s ready to be your best friend? Meet Brillo!

Brillo is a potty-trained, crate-trained boy who loves nothing more than being with his people. Whether it’s cruising around in the car, heading out on an adventure, or curling up for a good cuddle session, Brillo is happiest right by your side. 🥰

He’s:

🐕 Good with other dogs

Brillo is still working on his manners and does jump up when he gets excited, but he’s learning and making progress with his training. He’s just a happy, enthusiastic guy who sometimes forgets that all four paws belong on the floor! 😄

🆘 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR BALOO 🆘

Baloo is only 3 years old, and he has already experienced far more uncertainty than any dog should.

He was found as a stray on the streets, and after finally getting into foster care, he had a safe place to begin learning what life could look like. But heartbreakingly, he recently lost that foster due to life changes that were completely beyond his control. 💔

Now Baloo is in boarding—and he is shutting down.

This scared, quiet boy doesn't need another upheaval. He needs someone willing to give him the gift of time, patience, stability, and a safe place to decompress.

Baloo isn't going to walk into your home and immediately be the happy, confident dog we know he can become. He needs to be allowed to adjust at his own pace. He needs someone who will sit with him through the uncertainty and show him, day by day, that he is safe and that this time, he isn't going anywhere.

He is mostly potty trained and would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard. Another friendly, confident dog is preferred, as a canine companion may help him feel more secure and give him the confidence to come out of his shell.

Think about what Baloo must be feeling.
He was once a stray, with no idea where his next safe place would be.
Then he found a foster home.
He started to have hope.
And through no fault of his own, he lost it.

Now he's sitting in boarding, scared and shutting down, waiting for someone to give him another chance.

💔 Baloo doesn't need someone to "fix" him. He needs someone to give him the time and safety to heal.

He needs a quiet home.
He needs patience.
He needs a fenced yard.
He needs someone who won't give up when he doesn't immediately trust them.

Most importantly, he needs someone who will let him finally feel safe.

❤️ PLEASE DON'T LET BALOO GET LOST IN BOARDING.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR HARLEY! 🚨

Sweet Harley was once running out of time at BARC, with euthanasia quickly approaching. Just when it seemed like she might not make it, an amazing foster stepped up and gave Harley the chance she desperately needed. ❤️

But now, through absolutely no fault of her own, Harley is facing another heartbreaking setback. Her foster has experienced a family emergency and can no longer care for her.

Harley has already had her second chance nearly slip away once. We cannot let her lose the safe place she finally found. 💔

⏰ We urgently need a new foster for Harley before her temporary foster is forced to place her in boarding.

She has come so far. She was given a chance when her time was almost up, and now she needs someone willing to step up and keep that chance alive.

If you can foster Harley—or even know someone who might be able to—please reach out ASAP. A foster home could be the difference between Harley continuing toward the happy ending she deserves and facing yet another stressful transition.

Please don't let Harley's story end here. She fought so hard to get out. Now she just needs someone to help her stay out. 🐾❤️

WEEKEND PUPDATE! 🐾❤️ Celebrating Foster Fails!

This weekend, we’re celebrating two very special girls who finally found their forever homes with their foster families — Kali & Ella! 🥰

🐾 Kali was saved from the BARC euthanasia list back in 2024. This sweet momma has been waiting patiently for her happily ever after, and we couldn’t be happier to know that Kali has been home this whole time. Kali is living her best life in Spring, Texas with the family who opened their hearts and home to her. ❤️

🐾 Ella was adopted as a puppy and transported all the way to Virginia, but sadly, her adoption didn’t work out and she was returned to rescue. She came to her current foster mom a little skittish and unsure of the world. Her foster mom patiently worked with her, helping Ella gain confidence and learn that she was safe and loved. And somewhere along the way, her foster mom realized what we all hoped would happen… Ella was already home. 🥹❤️

After more than a year with her foster family, Ella officially became a FOSTER FAIL! 🎉

These girls may have taken different paths to get there, but their stories have the same beautiful ending: they are home, they are loved, and they are living their very best lives. 🏡❤️

We are SO happy for Kali and Ella and their families! Sometimes the best forever homes are the ones that started as foster homes. 🐾💕

🚨 URGENT FUNDRAISER FOR BUBBA 🚨

Our sweet Bubba has had a tough life, and unfortunately, the hits just keep coming. 💔

Bubba was found roaming the streets when a kind foster stepped up to take him in. He came into our program hoping that his difficult days were finally behind him. Today, we had to take Bubba to the vet after he began vomiting and refusing to eat.

Sadly, we learned what we feared most…

💔 BUBBA HAS A BLOCKAGE.

He needs emergency surgery to remove the blockage, and we expect the cost to be around $2,000.

We desperately need your help. 🙏

Adoptions have dropped to only about one-third of what they were a year ago, and as a result, our rescue funds are extremely tight. We simply don't have the funds sitting in our account to cover another unexpected emergency like this.

But Bubba doesn't know any of that.

He just knows he doesn't feel good, and he needs us. ❤️

We need to raise $2,000 to get Bubba the surgery he needs. Even a $5, $10, or $20 donation adds up and gets us closer to saving this sweet boy.

🎆 A Special July 4th - WEEKDEND PUPDATE!!

Look who's checking in from the lake this Fourth of July weekend—it's Bruno! ❤️🤍💙

This handsome boy has settled into his new life perfectly. His mom raves about him, saying he is such a good boy who simply loves to love. Bruno makes friends everywhere he goes—both canine and human! He's never meets a stranger and is always happy to spread smiles wherever his adventures take him.

While he isn't quite ready to be an Olympic swimmer, he's happy to wade right in until the water reaches his belly and enjoy every minute at the lake. And despite all the Fourth of July celebrations, Bruno couldn't be less bothered. His family is thankful that he takes all the fireworks in stride.

Happy Fourth of July, Bruno and to all our volunteers, adopters, followers, and of course, all our furry four-legged friends.
