What a great night at our meeting! We had a lot of special guests, two of which were PDG Lisa Free Martin and FVDGE Hollywood Bob Martin. PDG Lisa installed our new officers. PDG Lisa also presented a new PDG Achievement Award to Elaine Montgomery to replace hers that was lost in the flood. Lion President Patti Dugan presented awards and thanked members for their participation this year! A plaque was presented to Josie Kline for her role as Leo Advisor. Rookies of the Year went to Eric and Cassey Raines and our Lion of the Year is Jennifer Johnston. Lion Patti presented a trophy to every member that said “Absolutely Awesome” which describes our members! The Club awarded Lion Patti an engraved gavel and an endowment brick at Texas Lion’s Camp. This made her so happy! It was a great night! More pictures to be added.

We have been at it again! The busy bees spend their Saturday jarring some more delicious honey for your pleasure! Once again, this is pure local honey! 1/2 pints come in regular and cinnamon $10.00 ea. Pint size comes in regular only $20.00 ea! Support this fundraiser now! It always goes VERY FAST!!! Thanks to Jimmy and Jennifer for providing the space. Thanks to those that showed up to labor and especially to Jacob because he comes because he wants to! Here’s a few pictures of our efforts! The few and and the brave drove to Kerrville on Friday to prepare for Work Day at the Texas Lions Camp. They persisted through the torrential rain storms when their inner self was saying go back home! Saturday, they woke up to a glorious day! Beautiful blue skies and slightly cooler temperatures! They accomplished what was assigned to them as always! Thank you for your hard work! Rick and Marla Reynolds and Jennifer and Jimmy Johnston! We love our Camp!
