๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธToday is Flag Day.
Flag Day was adopted in 1916 as a way to commemorate the 1777 adoption of the stars and stripes as our national flag by the Continental Congress. Take time to remember what our flag symbolizes.

Pause today to thank our veterans and those serving in our armed forces and in law enforcement who preserve freedom , democracy and are currently fighting terrorism in our Homeland. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ As Memorial Day approaches, we pause to reflect on the true meaning behind the holiday.

While many gather with family and friends over the long weekend, we also remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Memorial Day is a time to honor their sacrifice, reflect on their courage, and remember the freedoms they fought to protect.

For many military and Gold Star families, this day carries deep emotion and remembrance. It is not just a holiday. It is personal.

As we prepare for Memorial Day, let us take time to visit memorials, place flags, attend ceremonies, share stories, and speak the names of our fallen heroes. Their sacrifice should never be forgotten.

Blue Star Mothers of America proudly honors and remembers those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

Serving Through Volunteerism ๐Ÿ’™

Blue Star Mothers of America is more than an organization. It is a community of volunteers dedicated to supporting our military, veterans, and military families through service, compassion, and action. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Across the country, Blue Star Mothers chapters spend countless hours volunteering in their communities. From packing care packages for deployed troops, supporting veterans in VA facilities, honoring the fallen, assisting military families in times of need, organizing community events, and participating in local outreach efforts, our members proudly serve those who serve our nation.

Volunteerism is at the heart of who we are. Every hour given, every card written, every meal served, and every act of kindness helps make a difference in the lives of military families and veterans.

Together, we continue the mission of supporting our heroes not only with words, but through meaningful service within our communities. ๐Ÿ’™

Happy Motherโ€™s Day ๐Ÿ’™

Today, we honor and celebrate all mothers, especially the incredible military mothers who carry both pride and sacrifice in their hearts every single day. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Military mothers know the strength it takes to support a child who chooses to serve our nation. We know the sleepless nights during deployments, the quiet worry during long periods of silence, the tears at goodbyes, and the overwhelming pride that comes with watching our children wear the uniform and serve something greater than themselves.

Whether your child is currently serving, deployed, a veteran, or forever remembered, your love, strength, and support matter more than words can express.

At Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., we recognize that military mothers serve too. Through every deployment, every homecoming, every sacrifice, and every prayer, military mothers continue standing strong beside their children and our nation.

Today, we celebrate YOU. ๐Ÿ’™

To every military mother, thank you for your strength, your sacrifices, your support, and your unwavering love.

Wishing all mothers a beautiful and blessed Motherโ€™s Day. ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Happy Birthday to the U.S. Army Reserve!โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

On April 23, 2026, the U.S. Army Reserve marks 118 years of service to the Nation.

Since its establishment in 1908, more than 1.3 million Warrior Citizens have answered the call to serve. Today, nearly 9,000 Army Reserve soldiers are mobilized and/or deployed across 25 countries, supporting U.S. Army and Joint Force requirements.

Army Reserve soldiers are Twice the Citizen, bringing the discipline of military service and the expertise of civilian careers together to build combat-ready formations whenever the Nation calls. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

"As the enabling capacity for the Army, our role has never been more critical," said Lt. Gen. Robert D. Harter, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command. "The Army Reserve is driving on its purpose โ€“ building and delivering combat-ready Soldiers and formations at time of need, when the Nation calls."
